This is the third time I've purchased these folders, which I use to distribute documents to clients in my business. On February 25, 2016, and August 24, 2016, I placed separate orders for the same folders. My order arrived on March 25, 2017, and the folders appear to have changed significantly. They're less textured, have a less rich black, and are more flimsy. They appear to be somewhat low-cost. In my photograph: br>br> The new ones are on the left, while the old ones are on the right.
When we ran out of printed folders at work, I purchased these. These are perfectly functional and present themselves in a professional manner. They also have a business card holder, which I appreciate. After using these, we may not return to printed folders.
I prepare tax returns, affix a label to them, insert my business card, and use them for my clients' copies. When I first opened these and began inserting my business cards, I discovered that the slots were not well cut, and I had to tear the folder to get my card in. I've improvised, and now all I'm doing is sticking two corners into the well-cut slots and hoping my card doesn't fall out. I didn't have this problem last year when I was using a generic brand. It appears that I'll be using those again.
My office tried to save money by purchasing a large number of folders for a low price; however, the area where you insert your business card was oversized, and I would have had to glue or tape the card into place, defeating the purpose of clients removing the card. As I told my EA, don't waste time; Avery doesn't disappoint.
These folders have been changed, and they are totally unacceptable. We used these folders for years, but not any longer, as you can see in my review below. 1) The texture is barely discernible, and the slight sheen present in the originals is absent: They've become dull and almost chalky, as if they were made of cheap construction paper. 2) They're an eighth of an inch shorter than the originals, giving them a nearly square rather than rectangular appearance. It's awful to think you can rely on the quality of something you've used for years, only to find out it's been replaced with something completely different. DISAPPOINTING IN THE MAXIMUM EXTENT. They'll be returned as defective items. br>br>Previous review: These are very attractive, and I use them to store marketing materials. Because the fronts are plain (aside from a slight texture), they are easily embellished with our logo labels. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating is because the glue on the center pocket makes it difficult to slide papers in, and it has to be dislodged with care with a letter opener. It's not difficult, but it's a minor point to consider.
It's similar to receiving a ream of printer paper, but it's not nearly as useful. br>br>It was a better deal than ordering a single folder at the price I got ($5). When it rains every day, having multiple raincoats comes in handy. These folders are made of a thin paper (like every other paper folder you'll find in stores) that can withstand some bending, but rain drops will fade the color. br>br>However, I don't think I'll ever use all forty, so if getting a few from a store for 50 cents each isn't your thing, consider becoming the Robin Hood of professionally-made jewelry. resume in black- holders.
These were purchased in two boxes. They showed up today. I took them all out of the box and they appear to be in excellent condition. They're fantastic, especially given their low cost! I made a $7 purchase. 99 for ten folders of comparable quality at Staples, so it goes without saying that I will not be returning to Staples and will be ordering these again!.
These appeared to be the best Amazon deal. They were black and had a com address. Although the folders are excellent, there are many other options available. It's now the end of July, and the day after I got these in the mail, I found very similar folders for $0. 50 at a big box retailer. 15 for each, as opposed to the previous price of $0. 42- If I had paid for them, I would have gotten them. Although the paper in the Avery folders is thicker, they are otherwise identical. The folders, on the other hand, are still fantastic.
