The item was flat and in good condition when it arrived!
It would be difficult to hold up the poster board in windy conditions.
I would consider the poster board to be "normal." The way I see it, it isn't rigid at all. We used it to make signs for a car parade and birthday party Even though the posters bent in the wind, they did not tear or rip.

There was no protection provided with this package of poster board, which was shipped in a large, floppy plastic bag. In the end, the poster board was severely bent and as a result, is unusable for school projects and similar projects, for which we envisioned them to be used. In terms of the boards themselves, they feel fairly sturdy and probably would have been good had they not been damaged during shipping. I am not sure how easy it would be to return them, so we will put them to use as scrap in our garage, but we won't order from them again.
The poster board I ordered through Amazon have used this type of poster board for collages in the past and I plan to use it as support for what is known as Fracture photography - that is, a photograph that is part of a broken glass piece. On the back side of the print, I used a piece of poster board cut to size to reinforce the glass. Thank you for your time and effort.
Having this item on hand is essential for any school or craft project.
The corners of the boxes were terribly damaged. There was no support provided.
It is awesome.
This came with creases, but I was able to cover up those creases by using it the way I did.
The poster boards were very good.
