I'm not sure what the exact dimensions are, but they're ideal for Life magazines. However, because the newer years of Life magazines are shorter, we had to reduce the size of the cards for them. They fit nicely in the sleeves, with plenty of extra to fold over and tape to keep dust out. dirt.
A third party has certified this product to be acid free.
The fact that one side is coated is obvious, but I'm not sure which side should face the magazine.
You'll need the comic book size; board backings come in a variety of sizes; measure your books and add an inch.

These boards are the perfect size--be sure to double-check the board dimensions before placing your order! I followed a link from So Sew Easy, but the first link took me to the incorrect product and the largest boards-- They are completely out of place on my Ikea shelving. Finally, after determining the proper size, I began wrapping the fabric around the boards, using a straight pin to secure the fabric, and voila, your fabric stash is now beautifully organized. If you have a large stash, the job may take a long time to complete. This is a fantastic way to organize your fabric.
I'm not pleased with myself. I wasn't expecting these to be this big. A height of 14" and a height of 15" are shown in the seller's photos. The dimensions are listed as 15" in the Product Information section. The dimensions list a height of 14 inches in the Customer Questions section. 7/8". For a height, that's exactly what I was looking for. That's what I was expecting for a height, especially since that's what I got for a height when I bought this product a few months ago, but instead, I got 14" high boards. Although BCW hasn't changed the name of their product or the UPC code (see my photos), it appears that the height of their Life Magazine Boards has been reduced by almost a full inch. I'm not going to use these new boards for my 1940s Life magazines because they're too big. They're too short to do their job properly, so they're from the 1950s. They're still a good board that can be used with the newer, shorter Life magazines. I'm just disappointed, and I'd really like to have the 14-inch version. 7/8" in size once more.
These did a fantastic job of wrapping my fabric. Now I can easily see all of my fabric because it's all stored on the same size pieces. The fabric pieces had been stacked before I used them. it is difficult to notice access without causing a ruckus among the group. Now I can sort them by color and easily remove the ones I don't want. I used them for pieces ranging from one yard to several yards in length. Smaller boards are available for smaller pieces of fabric. I used the larger size boards, but smaller ones are available as well. I'm recommending these to all of my sewing friends because they're sturdy enough to wrap the fabric around without bending or breaking the board. I ordered a 100-pack and was surprised to find that I only used 91 of them!.
This has been extremely helpful in keeping track of all of my fabric. Because the boards are sturdy but thin, I can now color code my fabric collection and make it look like a mini storefront! Additionally, shipping was extremely quick!.
These LIFE magazine backing boards are serving as holders for my embroidery items, which I can then attach and hang in my craft show booth. The boards are extremely stiff and durable. My guillotine paper cutter was used to cut the pieces to size. I like how bright white they are because I use them as a background for taking photos of my finished products.
The top surface is smooth and ideal for retrieving items from their bags, while the back side is coarser and ideal for labeling and/or writing relevant information about the contents of the bag. br>br>Anyone who collects periodicals or catalogues would benefit from these backs.
I wrapped my fashion fabric around these. Fashion fabric typically comes in widths of 55 to 60 inches, which are ideal for this application.
I sell on the internet as well as at antique and vintage markets. BCW is the best when it comes to providing high-quality supplies for dealers who want to store everything from vintage magazines to baseball cards, record albums, comic books, and posters, and they never disappoint.
