I expected that the look would be a bit glossy

I thought it was a decent mat considering it was so cheap. There are no obvious signs that it will tear or rip anytime soon, but does not seem like the best-quality material. When I saw it in the pictures, I expected it to have less shine, but it has a glossy appearance. If you do not want it to slip, try getting rug grippers to put at the bottom corners since it is quite light. It came rolled, but some parts need to be flattened out over time. If you do not want it to slip, I recommend getting some rug grippers. There are no stains, but it does get dirty fast if you have animals with things like hair hanging on it.

The prediction I had was that it would be a little thicker and would stay in one For now, I will use it, but in a couple months I will probably replace it. I like this because of how well it covers and how well it looks. Floors are protected by this mat. A deterrent would be that it takes so long to be delivered. On the other hand, it can be worth the wait if you have something temporary for your floors, or you can spend more and get one through prime and it will take another 15-30 days.

It does what it's supposed to do

It does what it's supposed to do. As soon as you receive it, it is rolled up. You can try to lay it but it'll curl when you try, but if you put something heavy on it like a book for an hour or so it'll fall by itself. A month later, there are no tears or signs of wear on the piece.
