Thank you for asking. I will try to respond as soon as possible. Upon closer inspection, we can confirm that the top of this mat has a lightly textured surface to provide extra grip. The underside, however, has a smooth surface We back you. It should be possible to feel the difference between the two sides of the mat if you run your fingers on each side. Surfaces with a semi-textured surface should be facing upwards, while smoother surfaces should be facing downwards and in contact with That's what we hope will help!
There is a European origin to it
When you are walking on a hard surface floor, it is quite simple. The type of carpet I use is carpet, so I am not sure what I would do.
The dimensions of the desk space are 47 inches wide by 43 inches long (not including the part that goes under the desk).

Let's see what happens in the following year! DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR! I am enjoying this much more than what is offered by Office Depot/Max or Staples so far. The construction appears to be much better and the materials seem to be more sturdy. I was able to get just what I needed because of the size availability. This is a good The carpet I had was bare and I wanted to avoid all those pesky little needles digging into it. I ordered the type for wood, as I didn't want those little things digging into carpet. I haven't noticed any shifting at all of the pad. I am very pleased with my A CAUTION is in order The warning is located on one side. Despite this, your brain may not pick up on it as it did for me. If you remove the band around the mat, be VERY CAREFUL. No matter how much they claim their products ship flat, they don't. In this case, they band it after rolling It is difficult to cut through the mat when it springs open forcefully. It was almost as bad as cutting It was a good thing that happened to me. Please beware!.
As a chair mat (47" x 59"), I purchased this item to cover my flooring, which looks like hardwood planks, because it was made of "luxury vinyl tile (LVT)" that looks like hardwood floors. A great alternative to hardwood, LVT offers a great look but is not as durable as Hence, the best course of action is to cover the floor with a covering to prevent damage from wheeled office chairs. As far as chair mats are concerned, there are generally 2 choices with regards to material and surface type. The choice of materials There are two types of PVC (1) Polycarbonate, and (2) PVC. My carpet was replaced with LVT after I used both types. The recycling bins). In the end, I got rid of it after a year and switched to polycarbonate for my carpet floor, which lasted longer for over 10 years before becoming cracked. Even though polycarbonate is more expensive than PVC, I think it would be the better investment. Additionally, there are choices in surface design There are two versions (1) one side spiked and the other smooth, or (2) one side textured and the other Spike side down, (1) would seem to be the best choice for carpet flooring. (1) is for a hard floor, and the smooth side should be facing up. In the beginning of my installation of my new hard floor, I started with the textured side down without consulting the instructions. In a matter of days, after I used the smooth side on top with my wheeled office chair, scratch marks also appeared on the surface. I read the instruction after I was disappointed and decided to try it again. In the end, I flipped the cover (as I should have done from the start) with the textured side facing up. Almost everything turned out perfectly. The textured surface has a scratch-resistant finish A good quality scratch-resistant material or at least something that hides scratches I don't know anything about it Having a reflective surface is quite beneficial in order to see (and admire) my new hard floor a lot better without the glare and flare that was caused by a smooth surface. The smooth surface UP tends to curl after unrolling when using a textured surface UP because out of the box, the floor mat was rolled up with a smooth surface inside. Unrolling it with smooth surface UP tends to leave the edges slightly curled up. There are some annoying things going on here. It seemed to "hug" the floor when I turned it over after I flipped it over. I have one last comment to make Do not unfold the mat until you have carefully read the instructions! Don't get too close when the unfurling is going on! I can tell you what I mean when you try An excellent product! I highly recommend it!.
So far I've tried it on hardwood floors and it appears to work well - I've only had it about a week. Everything seems to be going well so far. There were a few flat spots on day one, and a lot of flat spots There is a slick side up (make sure it is facing up). I haven't used a mat before that was slicker than any I've seen before It was a disappointment, but I was prepared for that after reading Buying the product again if I needed one for a hard surface would be an easy decision. The PSA in its entirety is In order to avoid getting injured when opening the product, I want to provide more information. * There are instructions in the box refer to them. After I unrolled the packaging I discovered this fault, which I didn't find until after I'd unrolled the product. I didn't get injured (partly due to Many people have been injured, and it is easy to see why. After the product is released from the band, it expands to its full capacity. There is more information than you might think. The instructions say REMEMBER An Extreme Amount of Care is Needed When Removing and Cutting the Restraining Bands
1) Place the rolled mat on the floor and restrain it in its rolled state while cutting or removing the straps/bands. 5) Gently let the roll of mat unroll as it completely opens by making sure the mat is restrained at arms length until it is completely By leaving it on one end (having it upright) I made the mistake of being too lazy to move it. Be careful not to make the same mistakes I made. Ensure that your grip is good To ensure I didn't hurt myself cutting the band, I'd put both hands on the mat and have someone else do it.
Although this does not seem to be a traditional use - It's for doing puzzles, but I bought it. There is a nice look to it on the floor (you can still see the carpet though) it is firm and smooth, and very firm, so you can lean on it comfortably. When I am not using it, I can slide the whole unit under the couch.
After I pulled out the box, the warning / instructions for how to safely unroll the rolled mat (printed in black and white) fell out of the box. In the blink of an eye, it popped open with my fingers resting on the sharp edges when I started to remove the plastic wrap from the center of the rolled up mat. Several fingers of mine were cut by a knife. The three fingers on my left hand have bandages. My bad, I wish I had read the warning before hurting myself in such a stupid way.
The mat was bought to protect the old hardwood floors I have. The smooth side of the fabric is on the front and the textured side is on the back. Toward the bottom, the smooth side goes. A little texture on the mat helps your wheels grip so you don't go flying off it when you push them. There is a nice variety of sizes available here, but I like the 47x59. The mat feels thick and A plastic shrink wrap protected it from damage after it was removed from its packaging. Laying the mat on the floor, pulling the end of the shrink wrap, and standing back, I examined it closely. Once the mat had reached its maximum unrolling distance, that's when it SNAPped off the roll. There was a pop from the mat. I recommend that you keep your distance and do not cut the shrink wrap if the mat is so thick, as it will rebound and may cause injury if cut. This is definitely worth checking out.
It was my biggest concern that the mat would be shipped curled, and would remain curled even when being used. Those things have happened to me previously, so imagine how delighted I was to receive the package Boxes that are completely flat and as large as a house. Because the mat is shipped flat, curling will not be an issue. I unboxed it easily and it slipped right under my chair. It seems to be sturdy and stable. In a state of utter uncurl. Thank you for your kind words.
