The foam is protected by a zipped cover. I wouldn't use it in the shower unless it's the only time you'll be using it. It'll fill up with water and take a long time to dry out. The cover can be removed and washed, but the foam cushion should not be washed. I hope you find this information useful.

To begin, I am 6' 5" tall and weigh 325 pounds. This device is effective. Three other cushions of this type have been purchased and discarded. This one is thick, plush, and strong enough to support my weight. Others are made for tiny, non-eating girls. More products like this that are made for real people are needed in the real world. Models are not included. Thank you for assisting a man who was suffering from a painful buttocks.
It's excruciatingly painful to sit, stand, or walk. I purchased a pillow a few months ago, but it had completely flattened out, causing severe pain in my back, buttocks, and hips. I had to take action because I couldn't get my doctor to listen to me. This is one of the most comfortable pillows I've ever owned. It's very comfortable, and my hips are no longer in pain. at the very least when seated LOL I'm just hoping it lasts a little longer than the last. But if that doesn't work out, I'll get another one.
I submitted a review for this product, but when I looked it up, it wasn't there. I was going to update my review, but I'm going to write a new one instead. I was smelling mildew and couldn't figure out why I was suddenly smelling something so strong. I initially assumed it was one of my plants, but it's actually this cushion. This is unacceptable; it must have come into contact with moisture or something similar. I'm not sure if they're aware that there's a problem. Here's what I have to say about it.
As a home health nurse, I am frequently called to a patient's home for a debilitating condition that has resulted in a bedsore. My patient had stage 3 decubitus to his coccyx when I ordered this cushion the first time. No one had been able to relieve the pressure in this area sufficiently to allow it to heal. The wound has healed and the patient has returned to his normal life thanks to this cushion and proper wound care; as a result, I ordered two more cushions for two more patients with stage 3 decubitis. With this cushion and proper wound care, we were able to prevent these wounds from worsening. In the future, I will always include this cushion in my treatment plan for pressure ulcer patients.
I received this product this morning, but as soon as I removed it from the packaging, I noticed an odor. I still sat it on my office chair, hoping that letting it air out would help, but it's not working and I'm getting nauseous. It's a shame because the cushion is extremely comfortable.
I bought it for my recliner because it was painful to recline, and now I can sit or recline without pain. I also have a 3" stiff foam cushion in my computer chair that works, but I'm going to replace it with one of these pillows. I also thought it was well-made, and I'm hoping it will last a long time; I highly recommend it.
For my office chair, I use the term cushion. This cushion has already made me very happy! It arrived yesterday, well-boxed and clearly well-made, and it's extremely comfortable! I've read reviews of other products that claimed they flattened when sat on, and this seat is huge and very supportive. I am a typical person. When I sat, it was the perfect size for a woman of my size. (It's gotten to the point where my feet don't even touch the ground anymore!) ) I had my husband with me as well - who stands a foot taller and weighs 100 pounds more than I do- He tried it and found it to be cushy and comfortable. A lovely handwritten thank you note was also included in the package. It took FOREVER for Fed Ex to deliver my package- The seller is not to blame if it takes longer than Amazon estimates. Overall, I told my husband that we're both going to buy one for long car trips! My tailbone is overjoyed by this cushion!.
In September of this year, I purchased my first one. It has held up so well that I purchased a second one for the house. On the left, you'll see the old one. There isn't any distinction. It has proven to be extremely beneficial to me. This is especially true when traveling. As some have claimed, there was no odor coming from the box. I can't express how pleased I am with my purchase.
