Yes, the U-shaped area extends all the way to the back. I've discovered that placing the front of your chair closest to the front of your chair provides more relief. This product appeals to me greatly.

It's comfortable for me to use in my (non-leather) recliner. I wish the distance from depth section was a little longer; I use it all the time. However, for the thigh/behind the knee area support in my recliner, I would prefer it to be a few inches longer, though it still does the job.

First and foremost, I am over 65 years old and suffer from arthritis in both hips. To stay in shape, I do a variety of exercises. When I sit for an extended period of time, such as when eating out, I find it difficult to get out of my seat or walk. When I first got this cushion, I tried it right away. I placed it in the chair that I use the most. When standing or walking, there are no problems or pain. In my car, I'll give it a shot next. I'll buy another one if it works as well there as it does here.
similar coccyx (vertebrate tail bone) cushions (3 in total) rec'd. ) but you should know that yours is the thickest, making it the most comfortable while still appearing to be supportive; I only sat on it once this morning on my way to work, so it could be pre-owned. mature enough to evaluate its worthiness in terms of benefits I believe the extra cushioning provides buttocks support where it is needed. When I compared all three side by side, your competitors' thinner models with more contours made me feel too much (in my opinion) the substrate hard wood cocktail table I laid them on, whereas yours did not. Congratulations, yours proved to be the winner.
It makes me uneasy. Well. It can be taken with you. That's something I'll concede. It comes with a small handle for carrying. That's about it. It's all a farce. Is it true that memory foam exists? No, I do not believe that is true. It's made of a tough foam. There isn't a single memory to be found. It doesn't sag when you put pressure on it. Within ten minutes of trying it out, my feet were fast asleep. I bought it in preparation for a long trip I'll be taking soon. I'm a runner who is a little on the lean side, so I have to bring my padding with me a lot of the time. This "cushion" won't be accompanying us on our journey. I can only imagine how inconvenient this would be. Awful. I understand the need for a foam cushion to support weight and prevent it from collapsing, but this is absurd. I also did not purchase the firm version. It's got to be made of concrete, right? This will, without a doubt, be revisited. Is it possible that I'm a little too skinny to reap the benefits? So I suppose it's for the frail. Nothing is cushioned by this. It's as difficult as attempting to pad the seats. Clearly, what you pay for is what you get.
For me, this has saved my life. It definitely relieves the strain on my tailbone. Before I bought it, I couldn't sit for more than 30 minutes at a time, but now I can watch an entire movie without any pain! I'd buy it again, and I'm likely to do so once I squish the first one I bought (which hasn't been a problem so far, and I sit on it every day).
After a few months of use, I can say that the product is effective. My tailbone was in excruciating pain, so I decided to get it. br>This has made a huge difference in the situation! The only disadvantage is that your legs are not properly supported and you can feel the pillow's edges. To get comfortable, you must adjust several times. br>The only reason I continue to use it is because it relieves my pain. br>br>Apart from that, using it on a daily basis is inconvenient.
Nine back surgeries and a spinal cord stimulator implant have been performed on me. I've had trouble sitting in almost any chair for the past 31 years since this began. For the first time in nearly 5 years, I was able to sit comfortably and watch my 9-year-old son perform his martial arts program thanks to this Plixio memory foam coccyx cushion. I've never been able to sit through an entire performance until now because he's a member of a performing demo team. Thank you so much for everything; it meant the world to both me and him.
This is a good product, but you should think about the size and type of seat you'll be using before purchasing. Although the product instructions state that it should be used on a flat surface, both of my office chairs have a curve that prevents the cushion from sitting properly. Because of how it conforms to the chair once I sit down, this is a problem for me. The cushion's sides press against the thighs, putting pressure on them. The majority of my pain is felt down the back of my thigh and leg due to a piriformis muscle compressing my sciatic nerve. I have a good amount of relief on a flat seat (my dining table chair), but the height is too high for me on the cushion, so I have to use a foot rest. I've attached some photos of my chairs so you can see the problem. Because I am only 110 pounds, the standard firmness of the cushion is ideal for me. At my weight, the firm would have been far too demanding. I am confident that this will work for me, but I must first locate an office chair that will allow the cushion to sit properly. If you're only using it for lower back pain, this may not be an issue, but if you're suffering from sciatica and the cushion conforms to a curved seat surface, the extra pressure on the thighs may aggravate the pain. As expected, the initial odor faded after the first day.
I've tried similar products before, but none of them come close to this. I have a severe spinal cord injury that makes it impossible for me to sit for long periods of time; this product provides much-needed relief and is durable. I use it on a daily basis, and the customer service is excellent. Others I've had have started to compress and the support has vanished, but this one shows no signs of doing so. I purchased one for both myself and my mother-in-law, who is 91 years old. It's something she really enjoys. Her back was recently operated on. So I would suggest this product to anyone suffering from lower back pain, sciatica, or any other type of chronic spinal pain. Helps to keep your spine straight and relieves other back pain by holding you up.
