The weight of all of my equipment is concentrated around my waist, putting strain on my lower back. Furthermore, I spend the majority of my shift in the car, and the seats lack lumbar support, which causes my back to hurt. I was discouraged when it came to office chairs as well as the much smaller ones used for driving. I figured I couldn't get any worse, so I ordered this strange-looking and unlikely-to-work item. "That will never work," my wife said as soon as she saw it. br>br>Well, it fits like a glove and provides me with just the right amount of support. In fact, I tried it out the next day. I got in my pickup truck and drove to work, completely oblivious to the fact that it was parked there. It's uncanny how comfortable it is. You have to give it a shot - They even give you two of them! I'm 6'1" and drive a RAM 1500, but I think this would work in any car without built-in lumbar support, and I'm going to try it in my office chair - I'm sure it'll be more comfortable than the foam pad I've been using (which has served me well).

These are back savers that I have in my truck and on my work chair. What makes it so great is that the mesh adds a little sculp to your back. These support the entire back, unlike the solid foam ones that only support a few spots.

I'm not sure why there are two pieces in the box. My chair's support is prone to slipping down. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust it. I tried stacking them together, but it didn't feel right. It does relieve pressure on my back for the half hour it stays in the right place. I wish the clip that secures it to the chair was stronger and more adjustable.
