I bought it for a car seat because I've had ischial tuberosity for years and it hurts to sit for long periods of time. I bought a new used car. The seats aren't the most comfortable in the world. I'm very pleased with this product, especially for the price; I looked at a few others online before deciding on this one. I didn't want anything too thick for the car, so I went with a low-profile cushion. I'd say it works just as well as a $325 Roho Cushion prescribed by a doctor. 00, the year I was diagnosed with ischial tuberosity for the first time. This was purchased to replace a worn-out cushion in my Adirondack chair. This is the best addition I could think of; it's the largest one I could find, and it's perfect for my chair. I have other, more expensive cushions like this, but for the thickness, this is just as good at a much lower price; any thin cushion, however, is unlikely to be enough to cushion a hard chair on its own. But if you just want to add a layer of cushioning to an already cushioned chair or car seat, this will do the trick and I highly recommend it. I'm blown away and delighted.
