A score of 4 is really what I would like to give this. Although I gave it 5 stars for the instructions, this desk is so wonderful I went with 5 instead of 4. There will probably be a heavy box in which this desk arrives, and the desk will probably come from a non-neighboring neighborhood Major delivery service (be sure to check for damages before you sign). There are extensive amounts of Styrofoam in the box, which makes the desk quite well packaged Despite the box being a little dented on the outside, the box arrived in excellent condition.

The instructions are very short (too short), and are 90% pictures, which created a lot As you go down the page, you will see haphazardly arranged pictures with no reference to which step goes first. Assembling the desk isn't complicated, as it only requires a few parts and steps. In just under an hour, I was able to assemble the table by myself, although it was difficult to get the top piece onto the table. This desk has a smooth, shiny surface on the top that has a slightly rough texture from the coating of clear PVC. The edges, however, are very smooth and shiny (due to The desk appears black in low light, but most furniture in a dark color appears that way in low lights. When viewed up close and/or in bright light, the desk appears to be made of faux wood There are grains. There are several features to the Alera SedinaAG desk that make it stand out. The product is very sturdy, heavy, and really quite large (which is one of my favorites).
