Gallon milk jugs placed in the cart's bottom would most likely tip over, but the canvas is strong enough to support them. Simply ensure that the milk lids are securely fastened. no spill.
Yes, I do it with a heavy load once a week. 5 steps. It's not easy, and it puts a lot of strain on the cart, but so far it appears to be holding up well.
Donna T. Unfortunately, I keep my cart, which is full of corrugated blocks and other teaching materials, at my church. The dimensions listed beneath the picture on Amazon, however, are 17"X18"X 21" h.
There are no issues with my cart. I imagine the liner, which is made of oil by product and cloth, would develop an odor if left in a hot environment, such as the trunk of a car. I keep mine in a well-ventilated area with plenty of room for the fabric to breathe. There have been no odor issues.

This product appeals to me because it has a sturdy folding frame and a heavy-duty carrying case. duty bag with velcro closure and a velcro lid However, the wheels are flimsy, and one of the front wheels broke off after only two months. The solution is, thankfully, straightforward. At your local hardware store, you're looking for something called a stem caster. To gain access to the tube, first cut off the end of the plastic tip with a saw. Drill or use a knife to widen the hole, then remove the plastic. Then, using a hammer and screwdriver, wrap about 12" of duct tape around the caster's stem for a tight fit, and tap it in place. I easily removed the second front wheel by prying up on a tab underneath and repeated the process for the second front wheel for a uniform appearance. Bam! In less than 20 minutes, you'll have completed the task. I've been using it with only three wheels for a while now, but the fix was actually quite simple once I got around to it. At your local hardware store, stem casters cost around $6 each. Enjoy. ) Brian.
I live across from a Kroger and use this to walk over and shop for groceries if the wheels were spaced further apart. I really like it. My only gripe is that, at 5'8", I'm a little too tall. My stride is long, and my foot occasionally brushes up against the steering wheel as I walk. It's very lightweight and easy to carry down the stairs at my apartment, and it's great that it folds up, but the wheels could be a little wider apart. It takes up very little space in my pantry where I keep it. This will be extremely useful to me!.
THE PRICE IS VERY LOW. DO NOT BUY THIS SHOPPING CART AT ALL. I HAD IT FOR LESS THAN THREE MONTHS. THE DAMN WHEELS HAD CHIPPED AND BROKE TO THE POINT OF NO REPAIR. ALL THEY SAID TO ME WAS "THE 30-THOUSANDTHOUSANDTHOUSANDTHOUSANDTHOUSANDTH THE DATE FOR THE "DAY RETURN" HAS EXPIRED. AS A RESULT, I WASTED MY MONEY. DON'T BUY IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. I GAVE IT ONE STAR, BUT IF I HAD THE CHOICE, I WOULD GIVE IT "ZERO" STARS.
Third, some of the wheels were broken. This is the third one I've purchased in the last two years. The wheels, I believe, are a problem with this product. The plastic pieces that attach the wheels to the metal frame. That is why, after a while, they break in the middle of the street. Because I live in New York City and use this for grocery shopping, it isn't exactly rough terrain or a heavy load. The compact fold is the only reason I keep buying the same cart, as we don't have enough storage space in New York for the heavier all-metal styles. When my second one broke a few weeks ago, I decided to buy a third one after much thought and deliberation. I've used it four times so far. After 5 attempts, a piece of the front wheel has popped out and cannot be replaced, causing the wheel to wobble and the cart to be unbalanced. I'm afraid I either got a defective one or they made it with even lower quality materials this time, and I don't think I'll be able to return or replace it because I've already thrown away the shipping box and used it on the street. This is extremely frustrating because the price was even higher this time, and I doubt I'll buy the fourth in two years if this one breaks as well!.
Hi! br>I liked this cart for all of the reasons that others have stated, but now that I've had it for a year, I've given it the true test of time, and I believe the owner of the actual company that manufactures them (not Versacart in Boulder, CO) Filgenuity LLC Hillsborough, NJ was very nice to email back to me last 1-year ago. He advised that photos of the broken pivotal double wheel be emailed first. He immediately had a replacement wheel sent from his warehouse. Unfortunately, in today's world, that level of care and attention is rare. The pivotal front wheels, the plastic part that connects the two wheels and snaps into place on the front down pipe, are made of a very cheap, easily fractured brittle plastic, which is the Versacart's serious Achilles heel. It would be sad if those parts were made of metal instead. It's also a molded part that you won't be able to repair or replace on your own. When I was transporting groceries from my car to the high-rise, it snapped. I live in a rise apartment building. I'd traversed a patch of rough ice, but it wasn't too bad. I just totaled my load at 41 pounds of groceries when the same cheap pivotal wheel part broke for the second time in about 2 hours. This time, all I was doing was walking over smooth sculpted icy hard snow that had been smoothed over by many pedestrian footsteps, so all it took was a smooth uneven surface of ice that was only about 2 feet wide before I was on smooth pavement. After last winter's experience, I was extra cautious, knowing how easily the front double pivotal wheel could break off. My one star comes from the fact that even being extremely cautious was insufficient. Everything else about this cart is fantastic. If you buy this cart, make sure you never use it on any uneven surface, whether it's rough or smooth, bare cement or asphalt, or smooth hallways. The temperature was 21 degrees Fahrenheit today. So, after making up for trying to transport my groceries on three wheels, I had a mile to go home, pushing hard and stopping frequently to rest. I desperately need a cart like this, but not another Versacart, and only a metal cart. In less than a year, I have given up twice. I hope I was able to assist you in making your decision and that you did not make the same mistakes I did. br>With best wishes, Winfred0000.
