Standing up the laptop screen at eye level is a lifesaver when you're hunched over your laptop for eight hours a day. The stand is very sturdy, and if you don't have the necessary strength, it can be difficult to adjust. It's ideal for me because it can support heavy laptops as well as heavy wrists resting on the laptop.
I was hesitant to buy one because there are so many different laptop holders to choose from, but I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. It's extremely light, requires no assembly, and is extremely portable. It's fantastic that I can store things beneath the computer. I immediately noticed a difference (for the better) in the reduction of my back pain. I didn't realize how much I needed this product until it was too late. The product was a little pricey, but I thought it was worth it rather than risking a gable on a less expensive model from a site like Wish or an off-seller, only to end up with something less durable. If you're not sure if you want to spend the money, I would strongly advise you to get one. I can even stand comfortably next to it because it provides the necessary 'lift' of elevation.
Although the height adjustment hinges are hard and tight, it is understandable that they are for stability. If you need a little more space on your desk or a stand to raise the height of your laptop screen, this is a great option!.
It's a more ergonomic setup because I'm not constantly leaning forward to read the laptop screen, and the camera is raised slightly above eye level. Bonus: Because my work bench is fairly tall, I can use it for short periods of time to work while standing (not ideal for more than a few minutes, but nice to be able to stand and type for a few minutes at a time). The angle of all four hinges is adjustable, so you can get it exactly how you want it. br>br>The pictures don't show it, but the angle of all four hinges is adjustable, so you can get it exactly how you want it. It's also very stable because the hinges are quite tight. I set it to the height I required and walked away. Unless the hinges loosen up a little, I think you'd get a good workout closing and opening it on a regular basis, as the photos suggest.
It's not as heavy as I'd like it to be, and the edges are a little jagged. I have a Nuluxy laptop stand that is significantly more durable and of higher quality than this one. Yes, it's less expensive, but it's not nearly as well-made. The metal is much thinner, and the edges are much too blunt, as I previously stated. Yes, it will hold your laptop, but by comparison, it feels a little cheap to me. It appears that simply adjusting the height/angle will bend and distort it. Not to mention the risk of being cut by the sharp edges.
Is a hard worker who knows what she's doing. It's simple to adjust and, given how light it is, it's surprisingly stable. I don't believe a regular-sized desk would be tall enough to serve as a standing desk. It's not a full-height office desk, but it does double duty on my kitchen counter as a standing desk. My previous stands, as well as the majority of the others I looked at, were all made to hold larger laptops (15-inch or larger). I didn't like how much extra desk space they took up just to hold my tiny little 13" Macbook, so I went with the 17" model. br>br>While this stand isn't difficult to fold and transport to and from work, I got lazy and bought a second one for my home office!.
It's incredibly difficult to adjust this laptop stand - It has stiffer joints than I do - I'm not sure how many more stars I can give it. Aside from that, the metallic pink, the limited height, the small footprint, and the convenience appeal to me. I imagine the joints are purposefully tight to withstand weight, but that level of precision is impossible to achieve. Too bad. Excellent product and seller experience.
I wish I had bought it sooner. This year, I've spent a lot of time in my home office, and I've been using my laptop screen as a third monitor. I'd always wanted to elevate my laptop so that the screen was at the same height as my other monitors, and this solved the problem while also providing a bonus. I was also able to store my docking station beneath the stand, which allowed me to free up desk space and organize my workspace.
