Questions & Answers

Is it possible to fold church bulletins in half with this?

I'm fairly certain it isn't If your paper is 8, it should be denominational, so there should be no problems. It folds into a 5"x11" rectangle. Fold it in half or fold it into a trifold. Because it is a manual feed, each of the eight pieces must be manually fed. It would be necessary to feed 5" x 11" paper into the machine.

Is it possible to make three-dimensional objects out of it? do you know how to fold brochures or is there a gap at the fold that needs to be filled? Please provide more information. gracias! ?

The P6400 can fold an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper (or A4 EU paper) into a letter fold or a half fold to fit into a 10 envelope. To crease a brochure fold, there are no adjustments to be made to the paper size. The P7200 is built to fold brochures and can be adjusted to do so.

Is it possible to fold cardstock 8? 5" x 5. Half a 5"?

No, it's not capable of handling card stock. I've used a 32 glossy stock as the thickest stock and it's worked well.

Could you please tell me how you made the guide for this machine? Thank you very much. ?

The P6400 is a hand-fed machine with no available guides. The P7200 is the next step up, featuring automatic feed and paper guides.

If you follow the user manual's instructions, it will work perfectly
5/5

I'm a small business owner, and I've never seen or used a letter folder before. Once removed from the box, the unit requires no further assembly. It's about the size of a small toaster, but it's a LOT heavier. The sound was more of a quick "whirr" type of noise. It was not loud to any of us in the office. br>br>Other reviewers have expressed concern that it will jam, fold incorrectly, or crinkle paper. So I was concerned that I would experience the same problem. However, I felt compelled to take the risk because we had a deadline to send 600 letters to our clients. I carefully read the instructions in the manual and followed them to the letter. We had a record breaking 99% success rate. I can say with 100% confidence that the reviewers complaining is due to "user error.

I can say with 100% confidence that the reviewers complaining is due to " " The user error is specifically not feeding the paper straight into the machine. If you put it in at an angle, it will create a "triangle" feed, which will catch the edges of the paper, resulting in a sloppy fold. Artificial intelligence isn't present in the machine, so it won't detect if the paper was inserted at an angle. The paper will be folded in the same manner as it was inserted. That's all there is to it. br>br>The guide explains how to do it correctly, which we did: 1. br>br> Keep the paper level and steady, and don't let it touch the edges. This ensures that the paper is fed into the machine in a straight line.
2. Place the paper (up to three sheets at a time) in the feeder and then LET GO!
3. The machine grabs the paper and folds it perfectly in 1 second, about 1/2 second after letting go. br>br>The reviewers who said it didn't work won't be able to find a solution from any other brand at this price point. Again, it's just a way of straightening out the paper. The machine is only performing the function for which it was designed mechanically. So, if the paper isn't inserted straight, or if the user holds on to the paper for a brief moment, It will be a failed fold if it grabs the paper in the second step. I recently completed a triathlon. br>br> 600 letters folded into two sheets Only seven mistakes were made by me. And there were never any traffic jams. It's just a double fold crease from my sloppy feeding of the sheets. This might not be a good choice if you don't have a steady hand or if you get shaky.

It's like using your office documents to play Russian roulette

This machine is capable of performing three functions. folding and bi-folding With ruthless aplomb, fold your papers. It will also feed them through the slot at the exact angle you put them in. Isn't it 2 degrees off? Regrettably, your client's documents, which you just spent 15 minutes printing and highlighting, will be creased and mauled by the machine's interior, and will resemble tri-fold brochures. garbage that has been folded. br>br>Is this the only option? Feed your papers as quickly and precisely as an android. You only have a half-second to type it in before the sensor activates and sends your documents to their potential demise. This problem could have been solved with a single dollar. 50 plastic guide, with a slightly wider slot that allows for more than 0. On an 8, there is a 001 clearance. A 5 x 11 sheet is included, as well as a fancy "Start" button. Who am I kidding, this design appears to have remained unchanged for at least three decades. They're probably all NOS from the original production run, slumbering together row upon row on their dusty shelves, each dreaming male in a Martin Yale warehouse somewhere, intentionally forgotten by Still, it's just enough to make this unit a frustrating waste of time; however, if you're a burnt-out veteran, this unit may be worth your time. As you secretly maul and crumple the edges of your jerk boss's mailers, invoices, and other client-facing documents as a passive aggressive secretary, you'll probably think this thing is the bee's knees. materials used on the outside.

Here's how to use it correctly! Despite the numerous negative reviews, I decided to order it and give it a try
4/5

Let's get this straight, people: The key is to drop the paper into the folder rather than holding it in your hands. The paper will go in crooked and come out badly folded (or jam) if you try to place it perfectly while holding it. It works fine if you drop it in from about an inch above; it takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but once you do, you're good to go. We use it to fold 50 to 100 letters at once and are satisfied with our purchase.

This is a product that is frequently misunderstood
5/5

Because of the numerous negative reviews, I was apprehensive about purchasing this product. I desperately needed a paper folder and looked for two weeks, despite the fact that I was running out of time. br>br>In the end, I decided to buy this product despite the fact that all of the reviews were negative (with a few exceptions). br>br>Once I received the product, I put it to the test with a few black and white flyers. You'll need at least two or three different sheets of paper to get the hang of it. It's the most straightforward thing to do. I bought it maybe a week ago and have folded over 1250 copies with only 1% mistakes . folds. br>br>The only mistakes you'll come across are those made by humans. There would be no mistakes if you could always put the paper in the slot the same way. However, it is natural for it to become unbalanced at times. br>br>If you're looking for a low-cost paper folder, this is my recommendation. As someone who prints and folds very expensive flyers, I would not recommend this product if it cost me money.

When it comes to picking up the paper, the folder is far too aggressive
3/5

If you attempt to print more than one page at a time, the pages will become separated and mangled. There was no correction for the issue. It's far too easy to get stuck in a snarl. Only a single page feed is allowed, and it must be perfectly centered to avoid being deleted.

With some tweaking, it works well
3/5

I purchased it with the intention of folding about 100 sheets twice a month. It's a little pricey for such small jobs, but once you figure out how to align the feed, it'll save you a lot of time. Aligning the paper perfectly, guiding it a little, and dropping it took some practice. Fortunately, I was able to make a simple paper guide out of some plastic scraps, and it now works perfectly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer failed to include a basic feeder tray.
