There's a reason why they give you twice as many yards per roll as most. This stuff is THIN and doesn't stick to cardboard boxes at all. During the packing process for our cross-country move, the tape has been lifting off like nothing else, even before we remove the boxes from the boxes. Once the packages are packed, they become even more of a problem. You may want to consider something like Grizzly Power, as it is thicker and stronger with excellent adhesive properties, even though the number of yards per roll is half that of Grizzly Power. It's absolutely true! Are you stronger? Is it thicker? The claims are horrendous and false. The rolls have "Heavy Duty" printed all over them in an apparent effort to control your mind, so you do not notice how many times you need to find that teeny tiny end point, followed by a slightly higher one, again and again on the rolls. I spent time having to find the tape each and every time it slipped out of my tape holder. Each time I had to chase the tape edge, I could not do it, and it sometimes took more than 15 minutes. My goal would be to find the edge and do everything in my power to find it. If a magnet was applied to it, the tape would automatically return to the roll as if it had never been peeled. The tape was absolutely terrible, and I wasted tons of time. It cannot lay without being guided if it wants to beat it all. I dont have time to mess with cheap tape and some things you cannot cut corners on, and this is one of them. I am packing my house of 30plus years. The waste of money and time would be worth far more than the money and time.

There is a mild odor when the spool is first unwound but it's not objectionable. I stopped smelling it for a while after that. Even though this tape isn't as thick as the Duck HD brand I previously used, it's strong and has never ripped. I saw some stretch marks when yanked very hard, but it never broke apart. Is this tape not sticking to anything? After days of adhesion, I removed a few lengths of tape from several boxes, and the tape pulled the cartons off their surfaces. In comparison with other brands, each of these rolls is twice as long. I would buy this product again if the price were right.

There is no such thing as paper. This is the worst and thinnest man I have ever seen! It's interesting to see the difference in quality when it comes to tapes and just getting a box sealed, but these are useless. I got them because they were cheaper than what we usually get. It is as thin as paper.

Buying these rolls was part of my moving preparations, mainly because I knew I would need a lot of tape I found that every time I tried to tape off an empty box, the tape ends would not adhere well. My goal was to ensure that the tape adhered completely to the box by pushing and smoothing it firmly. There were some times when the ends still curled and I had to press it again to try and adhere them. The good news is that none of the boxes fell apart during the move and the tape did not fall off. It was just an annoying process to make certain it remained intact during moving. It was also difficult to restart the tape after it was sealed to the roll a second time. As long as you could fix it properly for one sheet again, you would peel it in strips.

You can make this packing tape at home using the same quality tape you can get The products are not comparable to the quality of 3M or Duck, nor are they as expensive. If you are trying to reinforce a heavy package, I would suggest double-upping as they are thin but will adhere to cardboard very well. They are much thinner than 3M packing tape, so they should be used with caution if you are using them on cardboard. As of yet I have used about half of the roll, and I haven't had any difficulty sealing any packages. The packages that I shipped were shipped across the country without any issues. I also don't use much tape when packing with 3M and all of my packages have been less than 5 pounds. This entry level packing tape is a good buy for the price, especially if you're in the market for very cheap packing tape. The 3M Corporation can't be counted on A quality product. The key is to set realistic expectations. The Dollar Tree tapes were of decent quality for the price I paid, and I'm satisfied with my purchase.

There is no comparison between this product and any other I have used and purchased. It is just as good as any brand, but is less expensive. I have used it for shipping boxes out on eBay and for packing boxes If you need tape, this economically priced package is worth a look.
