There is no need for needless frustrations in life I wasn't about to invest as much money on a silly hole punch as I was on those I caused myself! I have no problem with the app as long as you want a precise hole in a specific point. But when you need a precision hole, it is hard to see the exact hole. The photo shows that I turned it into an oval because I couldn't clearly see what I was doing, and due to this I had to use the same hole to punch additional sheets. See photo above for proof. The metal of the punch continues to leave marks on paper, which could really be an issue for some users. It was really impressive how well built the product is. It seems like there are pins in a few places instead of screws, but right out of the box the machine punch was very sturdy and even a little heavy. However, the primary reason for removing a star is because it left dark grease stains on my paper (think automotive). When you are certain that the paper will be a problem for your project, you might want to punch several test holes on it until it is consistently clean before using it.

When I bought it, I bought it to use to punch holes in tin cans for alcohol backpacking stoves, and it can easily punch through steel cans. Additionally, I tried it on an old key card/credit card, and I was able to verify that as well. I like how clean the holes are punched with this tool As an additional test, I've also tried some printer paper and have had no tearing, rough cutting, or sticking problems at all- I would like to know about.

I used it easily to punch through two layers of clear packing tape along with the plastic bag header. It can be a little difficult to place the hole precisely because it's hard to find. In order to see where I'm punching, I use my punch upside down and then open the little catch flap. It is also possible to gauge the depth of the hole using the flat metal area on the side of the hole. The first few punches are pretty accurate, after that it becomes more so. In spite of heavy usage, this punch is still in great shape. There has never been a jam on it and it still remains sharp. It works great on plastic bags, laminated papers, and other crinkled papers.
If you need to punch through multiple layers of paper, this is the cutter for you.

To punch a hole on paper that is close to the edge, the paper needs to be positioned shallow in the jaw before punching (if you push the paper in all the way, you will not punch a hole near the edge). The bottom jaw has a metal guide that will allow you to determine the precise depth (you can see it in the picture ). The template is useful in other cases as well, such as setting out your supply list It is the paper that is punched that you are going to line up over top of the paper you need to punch. A major plus is that the punch is of excellent quality, and it is very sturdy. Since it requires less muscle to use it, it is a wonderful tool for someone with tendonitis (such as myself).

There were about 500 index cards for me to hole-punch, and I actually cut my hand with my old standard machine You get punched. I would like it if it were easier to see where the hole will land, but I have put a sticker on it and that makes it much easier to see, as well as just using it a lot and becoming accustomed to it over time. My life will never be the same after I buy this I am an elementary school teacher who hole punches stuff like crazy every year, so this IT tool is perfect I'm so excited!.
