These kraft paper envelopes do not have a plastic or padded interior. They're just plain paper.
When I sent a package I always taped over the self-envelope so after I sent it I was not sure about the 50 to 75 sheets of paper but it did self-stick pretty well

Selected User Reviews For Amazon Basics Catalog Mailing Envelopes, Peel & Seal, 10x13 Inch, Brown Kraft, 100-Pack
My name is Richard. Buy this product at your peril! There is absolutely nothing to like about these envelopes. A few of the items in my business have fallen out of the package during transit, so I have lost hundreds of dollars. Neither the seal nor the latch work. You might be able to use it as a business envelope for mailing, but definitely not for storing items in it.
They were on sale on Amazon Basics, which made me buy them. In my opinion, Amazon sells a good product, but this is awful. I ran it through my laser printer as I do with my other envelopes and the peel off strip came off and jammed up the entire internal mechanism of the printer. My jaw dropped when I saw the damage and tried to open the printer to clean it, but it wouldn't open. After reading other reviews, I noticed that every review I read had the same complaint. It seems that the envelope can't stay closed because of the adhesive. In the mail, the contents will spill out if you open it. The paper cannot be used in a laser printer. In that case, I can't imagine what these envelopes can be used for, unless you use Scotch Tape to close them. The cost of replacing my printer's toner cartridge and drum was offered to me as Amazon credit when I submitted a complaint for the damage to my printer with Amazon. ENVELOPES LIKE THIS ARE TO BE DISPOSED OF. If you want to print on them with a laser printer, buy the ones that have a wider white strip or say that they are laser printer-safe. The Amazon envelopes are thinner than the Staples envelopes you can see when you compare the side by side photos. You can also choose from the other options. Moreover, the paper on Amazon is thinner than what you find on The.
After sending two of these envelopes, I received two calls from two different customers who both complained that their envelopes arrived damaged, open, and with missing contents. In their opinion, there was no sign of theft, but it is likely that the envelopes did not This is going back to the store and I will not purchase them I plan on returning to the ones I used previously because they were more expensive. It is not worth saving money if the product is of.
Amazon Basics are great items and I mail important contents, but most of them are great. When the adhesive on the envelop is not secure, it is susceptible to tearing. Additionally, I am unable to seal the envelope well when I have about an inch thick content inside. It is often necessary to tape the lid down just to keep it in place.
The envelopes are functional enough, as far as being envelopes go. Unfortunately, there is no coping mechanism that makes sense to this user. Peel and seal strips are the smallest and scrawniest you can imagine. There is no holding on to them. When I left the Post Office they all came loose. I put some materials in three of these envelopes and sealed them, but by the time I got back, There is no truth in these envelopes Peal and seal isn't what they are In general, they don't seal on their own (for a very long time).
As a result, the envelopes do not seal due to the non-sticky glue. Apparently my postal carrier returned a few of my envelopes to me after picking up and said, Quote, 'these pouches are not sealed. Therefore, your products will be destroyed or lost. ' So I had to use tape to seal every one of them. As a result, now that I have to use tape to seal the envelopes, I ended up spending a few more cents on each one. A straight forward review and I do not require a refund I will deal with it myself.
My favorite way to peel an orange is to peel it. I liked the idea of peel-and-stick closures for envelopes, so I bought them. The first two out of the box were used to send It was fortunate that they sat overnight before heading to the post office, since neither envelope had been sealed the next morning. I am returning a box of envelopes.
I like the envelopes very much. I measured with my micrometer and they are the same thickness as my old ones. It's unclear from reviews whether these are thin or thick. Using a peeler I like that rip-and-stick allows me to avoid licking, and it also complies with new postal regulations about protruding clasps (I tape over the old ones.
