BUYER BEWARE: I've learned that just because someone says something, it doesn't necessarily mean it's true

It was no good without a working VCR, so I had to throw it away because there was no way to repair it. 80 dollars down the drain, but I did get a remote, which I'm not sure works with the vcr.

Allowing TekSwamp to ship through Amazon should be prohibited

It didn't work correctly. The cost of returning it would be nearly half of the original purchase price. This company and product are not to be recommended; only fast forward and stop would suffice.

This is not, as advertised, a direct replacement remote for our Magnavox unit. It's a universal remote control with a cross-platform capability. Use this reference paper to learn how to use various buttons for various functions. BTW: If you return it, you will be responsible for the shipping costs. Overall, a nice remote, but not worth the hassle of having to sit with a cross-eyed child. To use it, you'll need a piece of reference paper.
