When we moved, we misplaced our remote, so I looked for a replacement. All of the brand and model numbers correspond to the description of what it can do. There is no need for programming. I put batteries in it and put it to the test. It works without the need for any programming. However, not all of the buttons function in the same way as they did in the original game. I have to press "play" instead of "select" to select something from a menu. I've figured out the "quirks" and how it works, and I can now use the player without using the machine's buttons. Murphy's Law being what it is, the old one was recently discovered in the house. I'm thinking of putting batteries in it and using it as a backup.
The STEP SLOW (or fast forward/rewind) button acts as a forward/backward skip button. Unless the button is pressed and held down, in which case it acts as a fast forward/rewind (or STEP SLOW) button. br>br>With my DVD player, the CLEAR EQ (or skip forward/skip backward) simply does not work. My DVD player is a SANYO dual vhs/dvd SANYO vhs/dvd SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SANYO SA.
It did exactly what it was supposed to do. I've had this VCR for a long time, and my granddaughter was interested in watching some of my old movies, but I couldn't find the remote. I could have done without it, but now I have the ability to pause and replay!.
It will only turn on and off my DVD/VCR combo and will not access any other information. This remote cannot be returned because it is non-returnable. I paid $20 for it, by the way. It's not going to work for me. It'll most likely end up at Goodwill.
It's a good substitute for the original remote. There are no controls for rewinding or fast forwarding on the DVD player.

We were unable to use the remote control. We returned it, but no credit has been issued. This purchase did not meet my expectations.
