Remote Control for Optoma Projector HD26 GT1080 GT1070X HD141X DH1008 HD37 HDF536 HDF537ST HD200D EH200ST (with Backlignt)

My Optoma HD141X and this remote were not compatible. The only buttons that worked were the on/off ones. All of the other buttons either didn't work at all or performed a function that wasn't what they were supposed to do. The aspect ratio was controlled by the keystone button, for example. The arrow button opened the menu, but the select/enter button did not, and there were no other buttons that allowed navigation or select/enter through any of the menus that I could find. So even finding the mislabeled menu and aspect ratio buttons was pointless because I couldn't do anything with them. All of this was done to alleviate my frustration with my original remote's power button only working intermittently. After failing to locate an exact replacement for the original remote anywhere on the internet, I decided to open it up and clean the contacts with alcohol on my own. It's like new! br>br>UPDATE: br>br> To see if the behavior was an anomaly, the seller sent me another remote. The outcomes, however, remained unchanged. The buttons functioned (or didn't function) in the same way as the first one, rendering it useless. I still stand by my initial assessment - This remote appears to be the same as the SP replacement remote. Optoma customer service recommends the 8ZE01GC01 model, but it is not compatible with the Optoma HD141X. However, this could be a problem with the manufacturer's stated recommendation rather than the seller's fault. Reminder: This isn't a problem with my projector because all of the buttons on my original remote work fine (it was just the over-ride button that wasn't working). used the "on" button, which was having issues at the time).

Due to a previous review stating that it was incompatible with the HD141x model, I was very hesitant to order it. However, I believe the problem was caused by his projector or that it has since been resolved. It works great, with no syncing issues and all of the buttons working properly. It's bright and easy to use because all of the buttons light up.

It took some time to figure out which control was best for my projector. After spending several hours looking for the projector model number, this remote control was chosen because it indicated that it was the correct model. It's ready to use right away.

My old remote was no longer functional. I am very pleased that this arrived and worked. Although I was disappointed that the old one had broken, I was relieved that I was able to find a replacement.
