There is no need to replace the firmware on phones, as it can be easily updated by the end user through Voipt2. The polycom company. The Polycom firmware service is available on the web. The MAC address of any Polycom device matches its manufacturer factory install certificate.
My feeling is that it won't happen
It is not a direct comparison but the speaker has been used quite a few times in my office for several people, and we have been very pleased with the quality. Over the past 15 years, I have never heard anyone on the other end complain and I have used my 600 daily I was able to hold 20 person conferences with no trouble.

I find this phone to be amazing. Now I can confirm that RingCentral can provide this 100% of the time. While RingCentral doesn't sell the VVX600, they do sell the VVX500, and this is definitely the one to get. It wasn't until I called RC that they gave me the usual spiel about how they aren't quite sure if it will work and that if I had purchased it from them it would already be configured. As I told them, I knew the solution would work and I requested that they stop telling me this Having done thorough research on the issue and learning more about it than they did, I knew more than Despite a few glitches, the provisioning went smoothly. All they had to do was enter a URL into the phone. I like the phone very much. I love the sound of that. I could not have asked for anything RC works great with the plugin. Having a big, beautiful, touchscreen phone is just a little bit more than $500 if you are thinking about getting one.
I'm quite pleased with the phone, and I'm even more satisfied with the seller NETWORK NATION, INC. This was an excellent performance. The company has just jumped to the top of my list of vendors. I also have a VVX 500 and a bunch of older Polycom telephones. The following is not a shill's pitch. As a federal litigator with a law firm in California, I handle federal cases. In a matter of minutes, the owner of Telecom Nation contacted me personally, and we solved a software issue that nobody I don't want Polycom, I don't want RingCentral, I don't want a half-measure Other companies have at least a dozen tech support employees. We want our business to go to the folks at another online vendor—I won't name names. Adding one small customer to his work load surely did not earn him any money. Therefore, the owner must take seriously the reputation of his company in the marketplace. It's impossible to substitute that in buying online. Incidentally, the issue is related to Polycom's software. There are still some kinks to work out on the new VV 600, which is the top of the line model. Despite this, the 600 still offers some advantages over the 500, mostly due to the larger display. The audio quality is very good, and the build quality seems to be quite durable. Make sure to note whether the seller is including an AC power adapter when comparing. An adapter for Polycom 48 volts was included with the TN. It was left out of the box by another vendor. If you do not have the Polycom adapter, you will need to purchase a PPOE power injector (about $40), otherwise your phone will not work. This is a good phone, and this vendor is great.
The fact that this phone is not certified for Microsoft Teams made me doubt it would work. I was looking for Skype for Business, so I selected the web app on my phone and entered my Office 365 information. It just started configuring itself by itself. The phone is a great little device. The Polycom sound is excellent and now that I know it will work, I'm planning to buy some for our office. It was so simple to set up that I can't describe it in enough detail. The MS and Polycom teams have done a great job on making these configuration-friendly.
it to replace a Polycom 560 that had declined in quality over the past five years. The quick start guides are bare-bones and do not even include detailed information about the dozens of features you can use. They configured the phone remotely for me to be able to use it with Vonage. I found this to be effective. There are fewer buttons on the phone and it is designed better *The speakerphone sound is quite good*I find that the touch screen accumulates fingerprints (not a surprise, but perhaps it would have worked better with a different surface chemistry). I have a Plantronics Savi 740 headset, and the hard cable interface seems to be a bit sketchy. I tested it on a 560 and it worked like a charm. So far, I haven't figured out how to pair it In my case, I use the 740 to connect with my smartphone and I am not sure it is a good idea for the 740 to be in two places simultaneously. I was pleased with the quality of the seller's shipping. The purchase overall was a good one.
There are some communications issues with the particular phone we received. Calls come through at times and don't at all. My attempt to contact Polycom was unsuccessful and they informed me that the phone is not covered by warranty and that it is The company has also stated that it cannot do anything about it. Currently, I have no $200 to my name. I appreciate you taking advantage of me!.
All the features on this phone are attractive to me. It's clear that the sound quality is good, but I had to add a few lines to the config file to ensure the receiver volume and my microphone weren't reset to the defaults.
You can use this phone for business purposes well. You have the option of buying brand new items for half the price of second-hand items and they function just as well.
As someone who previously owned a VVX400, this is hands down my favorite This is one of the best touch screens I've ever used. It has a bright and responsive touchscreen, and it is so easy to provision with. You can even plug in a USB camera to this model for a high-quality call. The VVX series is a great choice. The devices have an excellent build quality and are rock solid.
