Three of these handsets and one of the DP752 base units are now in my possession. I had a defective handset when it arrived, but Amazon had its replacement sent out to me the My purchase was a very good choice for me. A Twilio phone number costs me $1 a month, and I pay Twilio for the calls. Incoming calls are charged at 0046 per minute. About a year ago, I precharged my Twilio account with $50, and I still have $35 in credit to this day. I am ashamed of big telephone companies for being so greedy with their monthly fees for a service that costs so little to provide.
The Panasonic KX-FZ95 was my replacement for the Panasonic KX-FZ95 Wires from an old TG4771 landline wireless hooked up to a Cisco ATA 10 years ago. In spite of using the same VOIP provider (Anveo) as the Panasonic, the Panasonic produces far better sound quality. You won't hear high frequency sounds or feel comfortable in your ear. In addition to not being ergonomic, the handset is not comfortable to use for an extended period of time. This is a phone I would not recommend for the reasons listed above.
It might be hard to use this phone on the first try for a residential user since they are not familiar with it. In the beginning, it would not charge, but after awhile I learned to remove the battery and insert it again, and it worked.
It's a better phone than expected in terms of battery life and range. It was very easy to set up, and voip service is saving us a great deal of money. As an alternative to paying "per phone", I like that I can use one voiSIP plan across all the phones.
