Asterisk / FreePBX are well suited to this product
5/5

The FreePBX I use is hosted in the cloud, and I have several phone numbers I had to dial 9 or 8 or some other combination of digits in order to dial out from one of those numbers. In the end, I opted for the Grandstream GS-260 Those who are interested in GXP2160 may find the advanced SIP connections, color display, as well as some customization useful. My computer was up and running in minutes once I received the package. With the keypad that comes with the phone or the web interface, you can modify the phone. This is where the web interface came in handy. Having set up all four of my extensions, I can now say that Getting through to the other end was no problem, but I ran into one issue. During the night, I could not receive any phone My RTP ports 1001 to 10002 are now open The SIP ports 5060 and 20000 are included in this package Send a text message to 5061. As a result, I only had access to one extension for dial out. According to my discovery, all accounts received every other next available SIP port. Account 1 had port 5060, account 2 had port 5062, account 3 had port 5064, etc. From 5060 to 5080, I have extended the range of SIP ports forwarded This is No. 5061 to No. There was a problem with 5070 and that fixed I then set up the phone by changing the time zone, choosing a wallpaper, and configuring It took a lot of work to configure the weather. To find your city code, you need to look it up yourself. If you want to find these details, you need to head to The Weather Channel and input your city and state. The zip code cannot be used for this purpose. There will be a code in the URL for your city or state when you access the weather page. USCA0923 is the USCA number for the city of Redlands, California. Just copy the code and paste it in the phone's configuration. The weather will then be updated instantly. Click on the first button on the home row to the left of missed calls to see the weather forecast. After I checked the other settings, I went through them to see if there was anything else to configure or customize, but there wasn't anything else that needed to be changed. So I left it the way it was. My last night was a bit of a headache because I got a hasty When I tried to answer, the only number that rang was for an extension that does not This type of call has sometimes been called a ghost call. There is a hacker scanning your network to see if they can take advantage of any vulnerabilities your system may have. According to my research, the solution is to enable Check Accept Incoming SIP from Proxy Only under Accounts and select incoming SIPs only from the proxy. You are logged in as Click here to access SIP settings The security settings are under the Settings menu. In addition, I enabled the Check SIP User ID for Incoming Invite option. The other option would be to use a non-toxic product This is a standard SIP port. Since making that change, I have left no Ghost Calls in my mailbox.

This is an excellent phone for small business and SOHO users
4/5

Because I am a VOIP (Voice over IP) guy, I use a lot of VOIP phones and software Over a hundred phones have been installed. I have a lot of favorite Grandstream GXP models, partly because of their ease of setup, generally decent audio and build quality, and partly because of their reasonable price. First, let's look at a few of the "plusses" of This is an out-of-the-box device that can handle up to six lines. There is also an enormous number of control elements, such as speed dial, BLF, and specific functions - all of which can be configured to your preferences It is largely possible to do almost anything you want with it, just without hiring anyone. It is generally clear and crisp when listening to the audio. A good phone at two times the price is competitive with many smartphones at two times the price. Several pages are available (stock reports, local weather, and you can insert your own. A corporate desk will look great with jpg backgrounds, etc). In general, I can install one out of the box within 60 minutes, and I generally have it up and running after a few minutes A 90-second process, assuming I am familiar with the credentials and have a computer handy (don't try to setup this device without a computer on the same network -- I know you will spend a lot of time on this! Configuration is pretty straightforward using the web GUI, and the process is the same for all GXPs. There are two gigabit ethernet jacks on the phone as well This way, you can loop through it to your PC, and it won't take a lot of time. I find this quite nice. Here's what I don't like. This is 1. It's the headset jack that gives me the most trouble. In spite of trying dozens of headsets, I was unable to find a single headset that worked with this device. I'm not sure whether it was intentional, but it appears either they changed the gain structure, or they wired the connector in an inefficient manner The normal configuration of the server. In addition to the switch for "Plantronics" headsets, there is no way to change the volume. It was only when I plugged it in the handset jack that I ever got a headset to work. In spite of this, the headset works in that jack. However, other issues arise as a result of this. For that reason alone, I would not recommend this phone if you need a headset (wired headset). My results on this are still being refined (I'll update this if any better results come up). 2. *br *br You can look up the phone book here. Let's face it, unless you were an extra in Office Space, you really shouldn't use a phonebook directory on a single-line LCD screen This device is suitable for this purpose. In fact, you should be programming your computer to dial your number, or you should have them programmed to speed dial. A phonebook on a phone is ludicrous, made even more so by the fact that Grandstream wastes several buttons on 3
3. This is how the buttons are laid out. A hot button can be found on each of three locations There are three main components a touchscreen, a headset, and an audio player. They are not all laid out at the same time. This is kind of I find this annoyance to be dumb, but let's just call it that. The handset cable spot can be found on the handset. Sadly, this is yet another poorly engineered and trivial No matter how much Grandstream wants to make it better, it won't change if nobody complains. The cable is routed primarily from under the phone, so it is sometimes getting stuck under the edge of the phone and causing the phone to tilt towards one side. I find this pretty annoying, especially as something that could have In total,

Despite its many flaws, it is still a good I think it is a wicked deal for the price (under $100)!.
