Questions & Answers

I'm having an echoey experience - I'm looking for some suggestions. ?

It's an echo, that's for sure! Keep an eye on the volume. An echo effect can occur if there is too much load.

After I turn off my computer, it makes a constant (usb connection) noise. I need to unplug or mute it in order for it to turn off. Any fix?

I usually unplug it before turning off my computer.

On my laptop, I'm using it to respond to ringcentral. The callers say they can hear themselves speak on a regular basis. What can I do to put a stop to it?

My problem is similar to yours. I've checked all of the mic's properties, disabled all other sound devices, tried a different cable, tried it on multiple PCs, and tried it on my phone, and the caller on the other line can always hear themselves talking.

Is it compatible with the Microsoft Surface?

So long as you have a USB port and enough space to accommodate the software. I don't see why it wouldn't.

Thank you to the considerate engineers, industrial designers, software developers, product packagers, and Amazon for highlighting this product; yes, it is that good
5/5

To begin, you'll receive only a speaker and a well-made USB cable. That USB cable, on the other hand, serves two purposes: power and computer connectivity. So there's no need for a third electrical cord to improve the dreaded, ever-expanding spider-web. You're not searching the never-ending web behind your desk for the never-ending never-ending never-ending never-ending never-ending never-ending never- There is an empty power outlet available. br>br>Once you connect it to a computer, in my case a Windows 10 desktop, the operating system recognizes it and a driver appears. What is the point of having a chauffeur? You'll notice it if you turn up the volume. It's a lot of fun to do that - It's a smidgeon of an idea- However, instead of a click button, there is a pause button. The same can be said for the mute function. You'll be provided with an on-the-spot estimate. A volume bar is shown on the screen. It only lasts a few seconds before it vanishes. This is Apple-related information. This speaker has a nice design. It took the place of an Amazon Alexa as my computer speaker and speakerphone in my case. Alexa would have been fantastic (and has better bass) if it hadn't been for the annoying "Now connecting to" message. " a non-turnable message off- According to the numerous online forums that follow Alex's progress as a computer speaker, he is capable. br>br>So, if you're looking for a speaker, this is a great option. This speaker is ideal for use as a speaker phone for those increasingly common webex calls. Furthermore, the headphone jack allows you to keep your conversation private while using your earbuds or headphones.

Speakers who are excellent
5/5

In place of my laptop speakers and microphone, I've been using these for Zoom meetings. To be sure, there has been a significant improvement! I use a USB connection that automatically installs. I would gladly recommend it.

It's ideal for web conferences
5/5

For Zoom and other web meetings, I used to wear a Plantronics headset. However, after several hours of use per day, it becomes uncomfortable. The built-in webcam microphone and computer speaker combination never worked for me because it echoed and caused feedback. I decided to give this USB mic/speaker device a try, and wow, am I impressed. Through the built-in speaker, other web meeting participants sound fantastic. They also claim that my voice is loud and clear, and that they receive no feedback. I am ecstatic. The touch-sensitive controls are also a nice addition. The krisp was just recently added. I installed noise cancellation software on my computer, which enhances the experience. It doesn't hide any flaws, but it muffles noises such as dogs barking, babies crying, and even clearing your throat. I highly recommend that software with any setup, and it works especially well with this device, which has a nice feel to it thanks to the metal wrapped design and high-quality materials. It has a nice thick rubber feed on the bottom to keep it from slipping around on the desk.

Because of Covid, it's ideal for hybrid teaching
5/5

Because I am a high school teacher who does not lecture, the primary method of instruction in my classroom is class discussion. I needed a way to connect the physical and virtual children. We use Zoom, and I didn't want everyone to use it because of the tech issues that the face-to-face kids have. So I purchased it, and it is fantastic. I'm sure the more expensive ones have a longer range or can connect via bluetooth (I bought a usb cable and it also works great), but this one is adequate for my needs.

Purchase this if you want to silence everyone in your meeting! I used it in Skype, Teams, and Zoom meetings for a couple of weeks
3/5

When people spoke and I wasn't muted, they got a terrible echo from this device in every case. It's kind of pointless to have something like this, especially since you have to mute yourself as soon as you finish speaking. br>br>Another annoyance is that when your computer goes into sleep mode, it makes noises as if it is being disconnected. Look for a more suitable product and avoid this one.

I was let down
3/5

Because of COVID, I bought this conference microphone for meetings with my colleague. This speakerphone microphone has a nice design, but I was disappointed with it when I received it. When I open the box, the speaker does not appear to be brand new. The worst part is that it creates a large echo in my colleagues' heads when we're in a meeting. I went back to using my old ones. I'm still on the lookout for a better one.

Joyce at Jounivo provided excellent customer service, earning me five stars. Joyce reached out to me after I was dissatisfied with my first speakerphone and worked to ensure that I received a replacement. The second speakerphone has worked flawlessly for me. All of the audio and controls (including the mute button!) are functional. Thank you so much, Joyce and Jounivo, for reaching out and providing such excellent service. br>br>Original Review: br>br>It worked for a couple of days before the mute button stopped working. I sent an email to support but didn't hear back.

It does its job in a reasonable manner
3/5

This USB conference unit appears to be in good working order. It's a simple plug-and-play installation. The only bigger issue is that neither Zoom nor Teams support the mute button. This is a problem that other products in the same price range have as well. You must remember to use your mute button on the App to mute. The red light will be triggered when you press the unit's button, but sound will still be transmitted through the microphone. This device has an average sound quality. While the microphone is quite sensitive, I tested it in multiple directions up to 10 feet and found that the other party can hear me fine. The speaker, on the other hand, is a bit of a letdown. It's a very faint sound. After an hour on the phone, the piercing treble hurts my ear. If you aren't too concerned with the hi-tech, This product can totally work for you if you only use it as a conference call tool and not as a second speaker.
