Selected User Reviews For Bluetooth Speakerphone – eMeet Luna Conference Speaker, w/Enhanced Noise Reduction Algorithm, Daisy Chain, w/Dongle USB Speakerphone for Home Office, 360° Voice Pickup for 8 People Black
With the recent stay-at-home orders and the need for more conference calling on Microsoft Teams and Google Hangouts, I needed a cost-effective way to provide technology to my office that was both high-quality and low-cost. Last year, I purchased an eMeet M2 unit and was very pleased with it, so I was very excited to learn that eMeet had added the Lunu to their line up. It was difficult to pass up at such a low price. The following are the results of my research: Desktop: br>br> br> br> br> br> br> br> b Ubuntu 20 is a Linux distribution. 04 via dongle includedbr>Tested: Sound quality: Microsoft Teams and Google Hangoutsbr> Microphone: excellentbr> We were able to hear us clearly, according to the recipients. We were also in a room with a very loud air conditioner, but the Luna did an excellent job of canceling it out. br>Note: Ubuntu recognized the device without the need to download or install any additional drivers, and it was recognized as soon as the dongle was plugged in and the Luna turned on. br>br>Tested: iPhone 11 via bluetoothbr> br>Sound quality: regular voice calls and Microsoft Teamsbr> Microphone: excellentbr> We were able to hear us clearly, according to the recipients.
Note: The iPhone connected to the Luna via Bluetooth with ease. Desktop: br>br> br> br> br> br> br> br> b Built-in Bluetooth on Windows 10br>Tested: Sound quality: Microsoft Teams and Google Hangoutsbr> Microphone: excellentbr> We were able to hear us clearly, according to the recipients.
Note: The Luna and Windows 10 paired quickly and easily via Bluetooth. br>br>Another note about the microphone - Up to 8 feet (or so) away, recipients could clearly hear us. br>Another point to consider about the speaker: Only the left channel was present when music was being played through it. The Luna is on the left in the attached photos, and the M2 is on the right. I didn't buy it to play music, but the sound quality of the music was quite nice. br>br>The Luna is on the left in the attached photos, and the M2 is on the right. br>br>Conclusion: br>br> Competitive products will find it difficult to match the Luna's price and quality.
I'm very pleased with this eMeet product; the Luna speakerphone has excellent sound quality, and the microphone has been very clear so far, according to the feedback I've received. The device is easy to use (Bluetooth, VoiceIA, Volume buttons, battery) and has a compact and attractive design. I've only used it for one thing so far. Meetings on the phone and listening to music are two things that the Luna excels at. It should also work well for group meetings, in my opinion. I've previously used the eMeet USB speakerphone, which has never disappointed me, but the Luna's sound quality is noticeably better. Furthermore, the Luna's Bluetooth compatibility is excellent. The speaker can be connected in three different ways: USB cable, USB dongle, and Bluetooth are all included. Everything works great, and the dongle is hidden in the back of the speaker, so you won't lose it. When connected to BT, the battery life appears to be good; after a few meetings totaling over 2 hours of conversations, the battery is still 3/4 full.
This product has been in my possession for a long time. I've been on a week-long hiatus and couldn't be more pleased. People are oblivious to the fact that I'm on speakerphone, and their calls are crystal clear. It now outnumbers my AirPods in terms of usage. For the same reasons, I have it connected to my computer.
I just got this and set it up because I'm in desperate need of a full-featured desktop computer. I needed a duplex speakerphone but didn't want to spend a lot of money on it. I used to use the eMeet M1 and had a great experience with support@emeet. Any questions I had could be directed to tech. Although the Luna is far superior to the M1 in terms of music playback, I primarily use it for phone calls and conference calls. I've tried calling from both my computer and my phone over bluetooth while they're both connected at the same time, and there were no problems; I'll be using it a lot during the week for work, so I'll update this review later in the week based on my findings.
This one is even more effective: The microphone does a good job of picking up conversations, but it does a better job of suppressing background noise. It's simple to set up (I use Bluetooth and a USB cable), and it's compatible with my Nextiva app, Zoom, and Skype. This is a great improvement.
ECHO, Delay, and Drops are words that are NOT AS EXPECTED. I'm not sure how they managed to get so much feedback on all of their models. The presence of a 5-star hotel impressed me. I was genuinely excited about a speakerphone product that actually worked, and I was given a star rating with any product, but I don't believe the reviews are genuine. People couldn't understand me; it sounded like I was in an echo chamber; there was a delay; I was stuttering. br>br>The speaker is fine, but the microphone drops every fourth or fifth word. I tried using the recommended software to update it. The issue did not go away. The person on the other end of the line is unable to hear you clearly enough to carry on a conversation with you. The item isn't functional - I've noticed that some others have swapped products back and forth; I don't have time to troubleshoot a defective product, and I rarely have time to do returns and exchanges due to my busy schedule. I bought the lite and standard versions of the product. Both are a let-down. Also, if I have the phone fully charged in the cradle and someone calls, I have to select blue tooth or it will pick up on regular mode and occasionally shut itself off, making it difficult to get it connected or the phone to my ear. AN INVESTMENT IN TIME.
