This phone took the place of a VTech, which in turn took the place of an AT&T phone. T cordless, CID that was blown out in the recent lightning storm. This isn't the same as the AT from before. T, which was slightly larger but otherwise identical. This phone appeals to me because of its larger buttons and ease of use. It's a huge improvement over the VTech, which felt and operated cheaply. The only disadvantage of this phone is that there is no blinking light when a new voicemail arrives. That feature is something I really miss. As a result, I'm only giving it four stars instead of the five I'd give it if the voicemail had a blinking light.
When it arrived, however, it was so small that it could have been mistaken for a cell. You can't talk on it unless you hold it in your hand, or it will slip right through. It's also incredibly thin and light. It has the appearance and feel of a small child's toy phone. The size was not mentioned in any of the reviews that I read. I'll double-check the dimensions the next time. I just assumed a phone would be a standard size! Regardless, I felt compelled to share this information with others. Make sure you're ready for a teeny-tiny phone by checking the dimensions. Please accept my apologies for only awarding one star. Although the quality was acceptable, we were unable to use it.
"You should get a home phone," said one of my coworkers, and I was taken aback. "I already have a home phone; it's on my desk, sometimes in my pocket, and it even comes with me to the bathroom. " You get a discount from my cable company if you bundle your cable and internet with home phone service. If I didn't have it, believe it or not, it would increase my bill. I chose this cordless phone because I didn't want voicemail and I've had good luck with AT&T in the past. products from the letter T It performs admirably, but there are a few niggles that caused me to deduct a star. I've had this phone for seven months and have yet to figure out how to change the ringer volume. The pamphlet was read by me. I even got it to work once and turned down the volume to the point where it barely makes any noise (which is probably for the best). It does light up when it rings, and I have it on my office desk, so the volume isn't a big deal for me, but it might be for others. Because I only use it for business calls, I haven't tried most of the features. The call volume is excellent, but if you're used to using a cellphone, you'll find it difficult to adjust to using a receiver like this. Overall, it does its job well and represents a good value for money.
This phone has a great sound quality and is crystal clear. All of the features are simple to use, and I had no trouble entering all of my old phone's numbers. The only issue I have with this phone is that it claims to use AA batteries, which it does not. It is powered by a rechargeable battery pack that is unique to this phone. I wanted to be able to replace the batteries myself rather than having to look all over the world for the right battery pack. Having said that, the phone appears to hold a charge for a reasonable amount of time. The phone has been off the charging cradle for three days after a full charge and it% Overall, it's a good phone that offers excellent value. This is the phone to get if you want a good phone for a good price, especially if you only want to keep your landline.
Speakerphone, redial, missed call log, and voicemail are among the features. Boom. Adulting! This product is for you if you only need a phone as a courtesy because you were duped into bundling TV, internet, and home phone.
Wasn't fully charged at the time. When I contacted Amazon customer service, she finally admitted that there is no way to brighten the screen, and she issued a refund. This item does not allow for a locker drop-off, which would be ideal because I work across the street from one, but instead they ordered a UPS pickup. Someone came into the office the next day and said they found the UPS label by the door downstairs and brought it up. It's ridiculous because there are 15 of us in the office and the UPS guy never rings the doorbell. Now they're telling me I need to take it to a UPS location. This is not going to happen because 1. (New York City) I don't have a car. I work far too many hours to drive a few miles to a UPS facility. When I called, an Amazon representative gave me a credit and told me to throw away the phone. I did. I appreciate Amazon's professionalism, but I'm issuing a warning to the public. THIS PHONE SHOULD NOT BE ACCESSED.
I first purchased two of these and began mounting one on the kitchen wall. I get it all set up after fishing the power cord out of the basement, but it doesn't work. The hand set continues to tell me that the base station isn't powered up, but the charging light has turned on. I used the original power supply to swap out the base and handset from the second set, and it started right up. My only other gripe is how unsightly the wall mount appears once it is installed. We had a senior citizen on our team. AT fashion The phone was mounted in a way that looked much nicer. A plastic cover should be used to conceal the exposed wires and mount.
It's what I'm using in my basement, and it's great. I have an iPhone, but I still want a land line because I have a phone in almost every room of my house. I was worried that this one wouldn't work with my other phones, but it does. It does feel light and cheap, though, which I doubt has anything to do with how well it works. It simply means that I grew up in a time when phones were different!.
