Over 3,000 color slides were left behind by my father when he passed away! He had not sorted them for ten years, so I purchased this viewer to do so. In two days, I was able to complete all of them!.
My experience with 3 different slide viewers has been nothing but trouble, with each one giving me problems like the slide getting stuck and the light not going out. What I wanted has finally come to me. Feed is slid from the top and pushed out with one button press. It looks like negatives feed from the side. That's quite an interesting discovery.
The slides I needed to copy for a class reunion were just a few slides. I have nothing fancy to say. Just taking pictures with my iPad or iPhone was all I did. My first time using it and it worked great. After that, I used the Apple software on my iPad to edit the light and color. There is no need to keep pushing the slide down to turn on the light with this viewer. The light stays on and you don't have to turn it on all the time. In lieu of $300, we will pay Rather than shelling out $400 to have my slides professionally converted, I was able to do it myself for $30. It can work perfect as long as you are patient and careful in how you position the lens of your iPad or iPhone.

It has nothing to do with what I can tell you Other than the fact that I found a trove of slides after the death of an older son. The device also works perfectly and comes with batteries, so it's ready to use out of the box. I want to draw your attention to one point A slide needs to fit in the slot at the top to slide through when using this viewer type. It's best to use newer slides with this device older slides from, say, the 80s may be too large. Newer slides fit great, making rough editing and reviewing.
