A problem with scalability

The printer driver on this device isn't working properly. If I print something, it will be 49 characters long. It will be an eighth of an inch short if it is 5 inches long; the larger the scale, the more inaccurate the measurement. I would not recommend this product to anyone who needs scaled drawings printed. It's unclear what's causing the problem. I've downloaded the printer driver at least two or three times. It also messes up our entire system. The RIPS are all off scale as a result of this. Once the driver has been removed. Everything appears to be in working order; however, does anyone have any insight into what is causing this?.
