As it has a tray, you might easily be able to use it for photo paper

Is it possible to print on heat transfer paper with this printer?

Ink and dye are the only consumables used in the HP DesignJet T520 printer A pigment-based colorant Inks that are based on water. Heat transfer papers require sublimation ink in order to print, not dye inks. If you use ordinary dye inks, you will not be able to print.

Sadly, the description leaves something to be desired. What is the size of the roll feed, and does it come with a stand and WiFi?

I say yes! There is no better printer for our department than this one.
