I have a pcl3 designjet 500 printer. Will this card support HP G/L if I buy it and install it? Is it also necessary for me to buy a memory card?

That appears to be the best driver; I did purchase memory, and I'm glad I did because the one on the GL/2 card wasn't working properly. It works fine after I put the mew memory in.

My 500hp has an error code of 05: This problem will be fixed by c7772A in version 10. Is the 128MB board required, or can I get by with just the board? How did you figure that out? Isn't it true that my card only has 64 MB of memory?

Yes, the C7772a is required to solve the 05: 10 error. The 64MB chip must be transferred to the new board.
