Questions & Answers

Is it possible to print from a flash drive or a USB drive with this printer?

To print, the printer must be connected to a computer with the appropriate driver installed.

Is it possible to test it vertically? I'm going to use it as a photo booth vertically. ?

I haven't tried it, but I doubt it would work because the ink tray is inside the machine but unsecured. That is why the instructions state that the unit should be transported empty. Also, I believe the paper clippings in the front-facing paper clipping tray would become lodged inside the mechanism if it were inverted. When I first started using the printer, this happened to me, and I had to send it back for service. Vertically, it doesn't appear to be possible.

Has anyone tried heat transfers with this type of dye sublimation printer (film)?

It'll be a disaster. in order to transfer heat The media (ribbon and paper) are only used for printing photos on photo paper.

Photo booths on a budget are a great option! This printer is an excellent place to start when setting up a photo booth
5/5

I was previously printing 4x6 prints on a cheap Canon printer, which took about a minute to complete. Switching to this has greatly increased speed and efficiency, as the prints take about 30 seconds to produce from taking the photo, placing it on a Photoshop template, and printing (we do everything by hand). br>br>Each roll of paper and ink produces approximately 300 4x6 photographs, and it's great that the purchase package includes two rolls of ink and paper. When we're on the job, we're never short on supplies. They're also easy and quick to replace when they're worn out. br>br>Overall, when compared to a standard consumer printer, this is a significant upgrade in the eyes of a photo booth owner. It's well worth the money, especially if you're on a tight budget! br>br>As an added bonus: My clients have loved being able to print precut photo strips.

Photo Prints with a Realistic Look! After years of tinkering with inkjet printers, I decided to invest in a Dye Sub printer (Mitsubishi CP-2000)
5/5

K60DW- S), and I'm happy to report that I'm not disappointed. The image quality is fantastic, and I always get exactly what I see on the screen! br>For me, the fact that it prints in black is a huge plus. Photographs in black and white. B was the last person I expected to see. Although W prints with a color cast, they print as neutral grays and blacks. Ink jet printers are useful for a variety of tasks, but you'll need a Dye Sub printer to print realistic photographs.

I received the printer quickly, and it is in excellent condition. Last Saturday, I used it for a photo booth at an event, and it worked nearly flawlessly. The paper kept jamming for some reason, but it could be fixed and it would work once more. However, the print quality and speed were excellent!.

The print results are pleasing to my eye. A print with a resolution of 300 dpi can be made to look very good using continuous tone.

The printer is extremely slow
3/5

The printer is extremely slow. They were looking 50% for a restocking fee. Specs aren't up to snuff when it comes to delivering results.

This printer is fantastic
5/5

It appeals to me. In the long run, using this printer vs. a smaller printer (HP and Canon for photo booths) will save you time and money. The Canon Selphy is a great camera for a small photo booth, but it's slow and time-consuming to use. You must replace the paper/ink cartridge on a regular basis (each cartridge package allows for a maximum of 100 prints). This Mitsubishi is the most incredible vehicle I've ever seen. Each set of printer ink/paper is good for about 300 prints, and there are two of them - So there are 600 copies! I don't have to replace the cartridge or print until it's nearly empty - It is incredibly quick to print! I'm thinking about setting up a second photo booth, and I'd buy this printer again!.

It's a lot better than waiting for prints to arrive in the mail or handing over money to other companies
5/5

I've had it for about 6 months, and the prints are fantastic and inexpensive after adjusting the color settings in LightRoom. Outsourcing is a waste of potential profit. Clients appreciate being able to get prints right away. So far, there hasn't been a single hiccup, misprint, or issue.
