Since I have owned the Epson Stylus Photo 820 since 2001, I know that it has SIX ink wells which produce vivid colors. I like that I can refill the cartridges with any ink I want via the plastic syringe provided by 3rd-party sellers. When you put on plastic gloves, it will be easy- As if you were a medical specialist. The problem is that the drivers are not found by Windows Vista. It would be appreciated if you could forgive me for adding more details about my Windows Vista question. ''Windows Vista drivers for this model are included in the Vista operating system,'' Epson says on its website. You can install it by powering it up Your Epson product needs to be turned on and connected to your computer follow the on-screen instructions Follow the instructions on the screen. By connecting it via the USB cable to the router, I am able to print wirelessly
As of right now, I am running it on an old Mac G4 Cube. Running on OSX 10, it runs on PCs with Windows Vista. The updates I did on my G4 probably didn't take it further than they could. Due to the fact that I would be unable to print from my G4 if I upgrade to a laser printer, I purchased a used Epson Stylus Photo 820 to replace it. For OSX 10, I would search for a cheap laser printer that is compatible with the OS. It's likely Apple support will be able to offer you some help.

The money was a total waste. Many years ago, I had one of these machines. I used it continuously to print photos and It failed to work with my current PC OS, even though they said it would work. It was 98). I. & I. However, it did not work properly (Therefore, well past the date for returns.
I got to eat it now)
The printer would not print, so I kept on cleaning the nozzle (please see image 1) until there was nothing left on my original ink cartridge. refilled or manufactured) thinking it might be There was no change in the issue. It cannot be verified that the seller has only one left in stock no matter how many times you check this printer. Astonished at how disappointed I am. The printer is a complete waste of money, do not buy it.
While the Epson 820 uses the 720 DPI quality, the picture quality is pretty good. For reasons of saving ink, I set my default to print at 720 DPI. It turns out that the DPI of 2880 is worthless since my Epson Photo Paper curled due to excessive ink saturation at that DPI. The best possible quality was obtained at 1440 DPI on photo paper, however the difference between it and 720 DPI was minimal. The EPI ColorLife paper is extremely expensive. If you purchase that, I think that 2880 DPI will It's just marketing if you do PIM (print image matching). There is no improvement in printing pictures with PIM. There's something a little duller about 50). Inks are being sucked into the Epson 820. Since Epson's color ink cartridges are thin and carry less ink, I don't know why they make them so thin (other than to make more $$$). I have been looking for a way to print common photo sizes with this printer such as 3x5, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, and wallets. I am delighted to find the Film Factory software provided with the printer. If I calculate the cost per image, I can fit 4 3x5 or 2 4x6 photos onto one sheet of photo paper, reducing the cost per photo. Having given this a three out of five, I give it an overall Round up to 4 from 5. Amazon has a scale of 0. There are no major issues with the picture quality. This photo is comparable to a real one. When comparing the same exact picture processed by Ofoto and an Epson print, one of my friends thought that the Epson print was the real photo. Com (a company that offers Kodak online processing). A common photo size can be printed pretty well with Film Factory software. In spite of that, I didn't rate it a 5 since there was a lot of ink used. Printers of this type have a resolution of 0 dpi, which is its biggest flaw.
Our mistake was failing to respond to a customer review that warned about streaking and poor technical support. Our efforts went only as far as printing a few sample photos to figure out color balance, etc. We began to streak the printer just as we were ready to print photographs for actual use. There is a problem with the output and it is In Epson's tests and online help, we were suggested to clean the cartridges. This occurs repeatedly. There are more problems and photos now than ever before. The next Epson recommendation is Replacing the cartridges is a good idea. It doesn't make sense! Using these brand-new cartridges, we printed fewer than ten photos. Every time we used Epson paper, and following Epson's instructions to a tee, we followed their instructions thoroughly. There are only two ways to get help from Epson If you call Epson at your own expense (i. e. , sit on hold for a long time), you can write Epson to tell them to do something. Send an email. That's not what I want. *p>Instead, I would like to relay a message to Make sure the kennel is There will be a new family for this dog! Since Amazon offers a good return policy, we are free from any hassles or printing problems with this printer. Make sure not to make the same mistake as The following is a description of a possible It is useless to have a printer that calls itself a "photo printer. " A product that works is all you need there are no hassles. Another printer should be found This Epson Stylus Photo 820 is not worth your time.
From the photos that I download to my computer, it prints out amazing color photos, and I use it again and again photos I printed from this printer were of much better quality than those from other printers that cost more. only thing that I find frustrating is the way that I cannot seem to maximize the pages that I print my pictures As far as I can tell, a 4x6 just hangs in the middle of the page. In addition, I am unable to print two or more pics on one page for maximum paper usage. Otherwise, it is a very good value to compare with other printers. It is >.
The Epson Stylus Photo 820 Inkjet Printer I purchased was a replacement for an Epson C62 that I owned As fast as the C62 was and the quality of the print was also excellent, the ink was very inexpensive. When it was time to replace the C62, I went looking for another fast office printer with inexpensive ink, and the Epson 820 seemed to meet all my requirements. It has become a very important part of my life. Even though it isn't very spectacular (it does not have an LCD display or wireless capabilities), it is fast, the print quality is great, and it is very reasonably priced. It turned out to be a better picture quality than I anticipated considering the age of the A great deal of money was spent on it.
Since it has identical print heads and specs to my larger professional quality 1270 and 1280 printers that I have in my studio, I purchased it for my home office. It has not been easy to work with this printer. It has primarily to do with The ink runs out almost daily because it clogs up so often that I have to run the cleaning cycle. In reality, I am printing mostly email and quick brochures and I replace ink cartridges nearly monthly. If you want a printer, take a trip over to the HP place. In addition to all of this, Epson customer service is next to impossible to reach.
I was very happy with the product and the delivery was fast. It is a customer who has been satisfied.
The printer I replaced my previous one which broke was the same one I previously had. There is a streaking issue with red ink on this one. The error goes away after two printed pages. I contacted the seller to find out how this could be resolved. The first option is to fix it and keep it. The second choice is to replace it. The third option is to return it and get a There is a way to resolve this problem, I believe it.
