Questions & Answers

What can I do if I want to print pictures of different sizes on one 8x10-size An article. Would it be more efficient to make 4 4x6 of the same image rather than 2 wallets 2 3x5 and 1 5x7?

This is true. If you choose the 8-inch format, the easy print software doesn't require any installation You can arrange a variety of pictures on a 1/2 x 11 sheet by putting various alignments on the page. It is possible to print multiple copies of a single page in multiple sizes.

What is the printing speed of this printer? Is it a direct CD printer? Would it be better to buy a cd that already has a label ?

I have been doing so using an iP 3000 as well as an iP 5000 printer for years. Similar results can be achieved with this method. The first print on the CD Label is the one you are looking for. I find 42 to be a very good In the past, it was attached to A version 1 of the program is all I have at the moment. This is the same image on the old iP 41 that I tried on the new iP 7220, same color settings which makes me very happy. There seemed to be differences between the intensities or saturations of different inks. It is however true that not all things remain If you use water shield discs, you will be amazed at the results.

Are you able to use it in Mojave?

It is compatible with macOS Mojave v10, so you can use your PIXMA iP7220 with it. Thanks! We hope you find this helpful!

Do you have a lot of ?

The package contains five inks, according to my calculations. If you set your printing to black and white, you will save The only thing you need to remember is to change it back when printing in

I really like the prints, but I think the ink quality is shady
3/5

My favorite part about this printer is the prints. The printing quality of my photos is one of the best I've ever seen from a printer in all my years of color printing. As compared with other brands of ink, brand name ink is relatively inexpensive, and it is easy and convenient to connect via WiFi. The convenience of printing from any device in my home connected to WiFi, without having to connect cables to the printer, is incredible. The problem with this printer is that it has a Ink guzzles from it like water does from cows. Logic tells me to replace the ink cartridges when there is only 30% left in them, and I'm certain that the printer is programmed to do so. I print only one photo a year, even though it prints great photos. Documents make up the remainder. The printer will alert me when it starts to run low on ink after about 30 pages. There is maybe 40 pages left before the printer refuses to print because "the ink failed to print. Just hold down the resume button under the power button for 5 seconds to force it to print regardless. There's always a message to let me know my ink is out, but I always get a lot of high-quality ink You'll be able to print quality documents.

This is the worst printer Canon has ever made
3/5

The Canon printer/scanner I was replacing died prematurely due to a paper jam. I bought the HP device to replace it. I was advised to purchase a standalone printer rather than a dual-use one, and I am sorry to say that I regret doing so. There's a lot of fuss with this printer. As opposed to my previous Canon printer that went onto the network effortlessly, this one required a lot of effort to get on the network, and the only way to do so was to use an old router that we had This is also a mind-blowing concept The pace of the game is mind-numbing. I actually lose productivity because of how slow it is. Even worse, half the time it fails to print, and no clear reason is given. The only thing I will see is either Printer Busy or Printer Needs Attention. There is no indication as to what is causing the delay. It's been two months since I started this and I am about to throw it away.

Although this is fine for my purposes, the instructions are a nightmare and the software is difficult to use
4/5

OUR PROFILE I usually print directly to DVDs with this and it is very good at doing this. Despite the colors being off, the intensity is good, and the printing speed is okay. PERSONAL CONS Instructions on how to set up the printer and connect to WiFi are the only ones on paper. There is a problem with how to print the Manual to a DVD once it has been loaded from the provided disc. It's confusing to locate where the disc should be inserted because the diagram does not indicate what it should be. My previous experience is as an Instructional Designer, and I am horrified by the confusion created by both manuals No logical order has been established for the For example, if you want to start printing anything, you need to go to the "My Image Garden" and if you want to create a DVD label, you have three templates to choose from, but there is no blank template. It's up to you to decide which of the three is right for you, and then figure out what content you will use instead. The process can be done but not in the way you might expect. Once you have the design (I made one in Photoshop and dragged it into InDesign) you can tweak Brightness, Contrast, and Sharpness File Menu offers no option to save your project as a template or even a repository of previous projects. After making three labels, I arranged them one after the other. There are three types of video formats NTSC, PAL, and Blu-ray In the words of Ray It was obvious the next time I opened the software that the files had been saved and numbered. So it was all good in the end. Currently, I am happy I can control this printer, but I must warn that it seems to go through ink faster than other printers I have used, and although the printer was $70, a replacement set of Canon inks was advertised at $55 when I purchased it. Several alternative sets of compatible inks can be found at much lower prices, and some of them include The reviews have been rated in the hundreds.

It was great to get Discs and Photos in such good shape
4/5

As a Canon user, I have been pleased to see that Canon updated its inkjet printer offering that now includes the option to print on printable discs, about two years after their last update. For me, this printer is the main reason for buying it. I had no problems setting up Windows 7 on my machine. There is a USB cable that comes with this printer, but thanks to the integrated wireless option I never needed it (even when first setting up the printer It is up to you to The exception is a rare event). In addition to having to run over an alignment page through the printer, (the printer comes with special alignment paper for this purpose), it was extremely slow to install, though I do not understand what that does other than clean the brand new heads. I was able to use the printer immediately after I finished the setup in 20 minutes. In it, there is its own software, which I did not like very much (too constricting for my label design) Unfortunately, I cannot print directly from Photoshop, but I can print directly from Illustrator. As long as you use it for partial images and basic text, the supplied software is fine In terms of having total creative control, however, it is not good. It didn't matter that I had. The jpg file(s) have been prepared to include all fonts already flattened After the images were adjusted, I did not see a way to use the supplied software to put a full image / full coverage. To get the alignment 'just right' so that it prints centered, it took about (3) discs to go through Photoshop. In order to show the challenges in pictures, I am going to try to upload them. I began getting very good results once I adopted this strategy, though. On a sticky note I left on the machine, I wrote down the alignment numbers so I can check them as needed. There's a problem with the driver It resets to "center" each time so I may have to reinstall Please enter that for all time. It is apparently the printer that lowers it's heads when you try to print from the CD (which uses a tray for loading Standard and included) which is fine, but adds approximately You don't have to wait for a machine to prepare before printing a batch of discs at once, though, if you're printing a batch at once. After that, you simply have to swap out discs in the tray. It's not too bad, but it would be nice if there was an extra tray available as an accessory. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything available I agree with you As a result, it's not moving very quickly. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality! With my last two HP and Epson printers that could print on discs having died, I've switched to a Brother printer - which is still functional today. There is some printing on discs, though it is very faint. What a pain. I am very happy with the results of this printer. The app was so easy to install on my iPhone that I was able to print a photo wirelessly from another room once I had set it up. Two paper trays (though each of them has a small capacity) are provided, which means one can load 4x6 paper in one tray and standard paper in the other. In addition to staying in place while using the disc tray, both trays stay in place as well. I'm so glad to hear that. There are very minor bandings on the edges of the image. In the printed photo, there is mostly just one pale line. As for me, I am able to live with this, better in my experience than many others, and if I truly need to print photos, I upload to a retailer and use their $100,000 printer for free. Printed on true photo paper, 14 x 6. It is a good choice for me if I need a quick print. As far as I know I haven't used the autofill Features of the duplex (double sided) printer The paper used for standard printing is not standard. Yet the discs I've used do not have a glossy finish (matte) or they do not print It is pretty quiet, pretty, and fairly compact. The paper tray catcher can be closed and opened automatically when it is time to print, which will make it easier to store Being that I tend not to use it all the time, it is nice to have You will have to decide how often to use it depending on how much you print. A card reader is all that's missing. My Brother machine could print from the computer or smartphone, but the quality was not acceptable. This machine cannot print from a digital device without sending the file from the computer or smartphone device, such as yours. It would be better for me if I chose this option. I will repeat As well as making it easier to swallow, the easy connection makes it easier to focus on the task at hand. I've only gotten a few prints out of it so I haven't been able to really judge the ink levels, but I have printed 10 pages Apparently, 30% of the standard capacity tanks of both magenta and cyan that come with the printer are empty. Lastly, (1) 4x6 photo print is left on the included face discs. An entire set of Canon replacements costs about 63 dollars standard, and 95 dollars XL. Compared to a desktop inkjet, I don't think any will be able to deliver truly professional photos. I believe this printer will be great for most people. Although it can take a while to figure out the alignment of your disc, the printing is excellent. You can now decide if this is the right machine for you! I hope that this review was helpful!.
