It helps me save a lot of cash. As a teacher, this is the best investment I've ever made. Two pieces of advice: only order laminate pouches from Amazon because they'll cost you a billion times more elsewhere, and don't buy off-brand because it'll get stuck in your laminator!.

There are no labels. So I set the first one to 3 mil, and it didn't laminate as well as I had hoped. The second time, I went with a 5mil setting, and it turned out beautifully.

As a teacher, I frequently request that manipulative activities be laminated to prevent students from tearing them up. Compared to my school's large roller laminator, this does a fantastic job of what I need and keeps the lamination sizes manageable. I should've bought one a long time ago! When school starts, I'll most likely buy another so I can get more work done in less time.

The amazon brand laminator had been out of stock for months due to quarantine, so I couldn't complain for the price; it would either work or not, and I'd have to wait for the restock of the preferred brand I wanted anyway. The first time I used it, it worked perfectly; I laminated card stock with the scotch sleeves that came with it just in case it was defective. The second time I used it, it began to make a clicking/grinding noise, but it didn't seem to affect the lamination process, so I kept using it. After about 50 laminations, my foil sheet got sucked into the roller after folding backwards on itself before I could grab it out the receiving end, so I unplugged the machine right away in case of a potential melting or fire hazard, waited until it was cool, then disassembled the laminator by unscrewing the 8 screws on the bottom. For someone who dislikes close-up work, removing the foil sheet would have been a nightmare. I finally got it out with a needle and thread, fitting plastic pieces that overlapped or wires that were bunched together. pliers for the nose. I reassembled it and it now functions normally, though the clicking/grinding noise has vanished. So far, there haven't been any issues, but I'll update this review as things progress.

This laminator and pouch set represents excellent value. The laminator performs admirably and is ready to use right out of the box. It warmed up in about three minutes.

I'd been wanting a laminator for a long time and finally got one. I don't have access to one at work, and I'm not about to spend $100 on a laminator. There were visible air pockets in there. So it was a letdown, but what else could I have expected?.

There were 100 of them, and each one was fantastic. I even used it to save some old newspaper articles, which came out looking nice and shiny. br>br>One of the reasons I bought this was to make an informational guest book for a vacation rental property, which I did by laminating each page, punching holes, and gluing them to a 3-ring binder. Binder with four rings The end result was fantastic! We also use it to laminate some of the kids' schoolwork, as well as any cards they send to family members in the mail. br>br>Every family who wants to save their children's artwork should have one!.

Warming up takes just three minutes. Ensure that the sheet is slid along the two guides. as a result, your sheet will be accurate. This laminator has made my life so much easier! It's been perfect for laminating Bible bookmarks for me. I am able to get about 4- On one single sheet, there are five!.
