The yad is beautifully made with carvings in the design of Jerusalem, and tiny stones that represent the breast plate of the Kohanim. A small wooden case I made for it turned out to be a hit with my grandson, who used it on his special day to 'layn' from the Torah.

It has a pleasing balance, and I like the presentation of it. Even though I know it was made for Torah, I use it for both my big bible and my small one I think it is perfect. It's very well balanced and very pleasing to the eye There's something to be said for the heaviness in this track!.
