Now that I've owned this laminator for a couple of weeks, it's time to use it. In terms of laminating, it has done an outstanding job. In addition to producing enough heat to heat a room, it can also cool it down. Its only problem is that it makes a lot of noise. A blow or a death noise sounds like it is about to come. When I place a book under one side of the laminator, the noise goes away. It is a great laminator aside from that. As I get more use out of it, I will keep updating. A quick update There are now five days left in the year. There are hundreds of laminated sheets in the laminator in 2020. I love the way it works. I did notice that it started making squeaky sounds like it needed some oil. The rest of the time it works fine. It couldn't have been better.
The Tru Lam TL-36 is excellent My expectations for the 320E laminator were met. A medium weight laminator is included. There is a noticeable difference in weight between it and the Scotch brand. TruLam takes longer to heat up and cool down than the Scotch brand however, it allows me to laminate wider pouches than I could with the Scotch brand. I keep it on a cart so I do not have to move it when I need to use it. Because it gets very hot, I place it elevated so that it can be ventilated. Furthermore, I use a portable fan to cool it down after it has been used. In this way, I don't have to wait a long time until that happens. I highly recommend this company for supplies. I have been extremely satisfied with their customer service.
I wasn't expecting this laminator to be so good. It was difficult to laminate and seal from the start because the heat setting was incorrect. To get it to laminate and seal, we had to turn up the heat to higher temperatures than listed.
