A lot of negative reviews were reserved for the "5" model because of the missing heat up near the far working on a family project that grew and grew, and before I knew it, I was laminating hundreds of items with playing card sizes. As soon as I turned it on, I was unable to set its timer. I left it on for 10 hours straight one day near the end. This is something I do not recommend This is clearly against the manufacturer's guidelines, but I wanted to let you know I did it. I am impressed by the machine. Although I had purchased 5 mil sheets, I was never able to use them. The last of those 200+ laminations came out as perfect as the first. It took me a few tries to figure out if the thickness of the sheets was a problem, but I have not had any trouble with it so far. In fact, it's the adhesive on top of the plastic that melts rather than the plastic itself. The 3 mil sheets are the only ones I'm familiar with. Obviously, this is a really great product or else I wouldn't have wasted my time going over this in depth! If you made it so far, thank you!.
Initially, I bought another brand of laminator for foil-in techniques, however I found that the foil would flake off and didn't adhere well to the card stock even after running it through the machine twice. I know most card makers use this machine, so now I understand As foil adheres much stronger and permanently, it is much easier to remove it. It has definitely become one of my favorite laminators.
When I purchased this laminator, I had previously owned a Scotch brand laminator that had been recalled. Wow, In contrast to the Scotch brand, I only need to run the item through the laminator once, rather than three times as I did with it. Additionally, it is a great value for the money.
The product I bought in November 2017 is still in my possession. In the six months since I purchased it, I've used it about six times. It happened last Saturday during laminating when the first chart went through fine but the second one somehow became stuck inside the laminator and I haven't been able to pull it out yet. First, I let it cool down and then took the cover off. As I tried to unwrap the chart, I was only able to keep some of it wrapped. This might be due to it melting to the heater It is useless now unless I can figure out how to untangle this mess without damaging the heating element, and even then I am not certain whether I can trust it to work properly again because it already ate this project. Luckily, it wasn't something that was truly urgent or important.
It handles haze EVERY time. I like the ease of use of this laminator. One of the versions I have is a 9" version. Wow, what a day! All of the attempts resulted in hazy images, and the finished product was barely warm after processing. Here are some warming up times I tried The duration of the program is 15', 30', 45', There is a defect in the unit I received. There may have been a problem with the heater. Ultimately, I decided to return the item. My app generated a scannable code that I had to add to my package for UPS when I returned my order. I simply went to my orders and clicked the return button. As soon as UPS scanned the code to pay for return shipping, I was instantly reimbursed for the shipment. It was good to have that kind of In the end, what did I do? As a result, I chose to stay with the brand. Nonetheless, the Professional, 4-inch version was purchased Alternatively, you can roll out the This product is listed on Amazon for *$98, but I was able to obtain a coupon at an office supply and binding store and purchased it from them. I think it could be a good The trick to getting what you want is sometimes paying for what you will get.
The laminator I used for the first time was a new purchase. There are other card makers who use this one as well. As soon as it arrived, the box was badly damaged. A chip had fallen out of the side of the laminator, and the green ready light didn't turn green. A replacement crown was delivered to me within two days after contacting Royal Soverign. I was extremely pleased with the customer service. A new one was provided for free when the damaged one was returned. I can't say enough about what a good job the replacement laminator did. It heated much faster than the original laminator, fed smoothly, and produced a perfect result. There is no other way to describe how much I love Royal Sovereign!.
am not sure about this product. It does not seem to be all that great. There's a chance I'll have to return it. I will try it once more to see if it is worth it. It has really good reviews. A long time is required for the surface to heat up, and the lamination is not so good. This laminator only works two times and I have not used it for a year and a half. Sealing pouches couldn't be achieved because pouches weren't heated enough.
Fortunately, Amazon made it right when my first one shut down before it heated up, and the second worked best foiling using transfer paste. I tried everything they recommended- I even bought more than one at the same time. It took a long time to get foil to adhere (maybe 25% of the time) even with the help of shims. I got a different brand and I am very satisfied with it. My disappointment is not to be excused, but I am However, Amazon did a great job!.
