In the past multiple months, we haven't had any problems with the laminator.

The laminating pouches/sheets are menu size, is this device able to handle that?

Although I am not sure what size your menu is, it can laminate up to 12" wide, so you can use an 11 x 17 or an 11 x 15 size. Seven times 16 is an even number. Ensure it's straight after step 5, but be sure it's not crooked. My recommendation is to avoid this product. It usually has wave bands. I don't understand why the heat temperature is not even during the laminate process, even the letter size has the same result. I got a replacement, but it also had the same result. The only thing I can use this item for is something not important and it needs to be laminated.

This laminator can be used with a carrier, right? What about cleaning sheets? Do you need to purchase them?

The two things you needn't be done. It only requires you to put your item to be laminated between the sheets and load the machine. The process is very simple and clean.

One of my biggest complaints is that the pages don't lay flat once they're No matter what sheets I use, what thickness I use, or what type of paper I use, what matters is the result. This is paper. are all warped significantly when they come out. As a result, this is usually not an issue since I use it largely for things that are being cut out, and the warping is not evident in small cut-out pieces, but only in Occasionally, however, this can cause major problems since whole sheets are needed for certain projects.

We were extremely happy with this machine when it first arrived! We used thick mil sheets for name badges and the lamination quality was good thanks to its quick heat up. In addition, it automatically shut off when not in use. However, after only 5 months of use, we noticed such a bad smell as well as extreme heat coming from the outside cover. laminating machine started to smoke one day after it had been turned on, and the laminating pouch was completely melted as it was fed into it Our pouch would not even come out when we tried to reverse it. Thankfully, it was covered by a three year warranty, so hopefully that will save us from having to replace it with a new one.

I've laminated fewer than 20 sheets of 3mm paper with it only a few times. The first few times I used it, the pages didn't curl, but around the fifth time I used it, they started curling. The laminator jammed around the 10th time it was used. I was able to remove the paper successfully, but although it continued to curl the upper edge of the sign, I didn't worry about it since the majority of the time it was used to make door signs for us. Once again, it jammed on the 18th paper. Because I am unable to remove the paper and the machine is no longer returnable through Amazon, I have to go straight to the manufacturer because it's 10 cents over the one-dollar mark. The product is covered by an annual It would be a good idea to get the extended warranty with this product There is a need for.

I am trying to find a brand of laminator that works for the second time. In retrospect, I should have paid more attention to the 1 and the 2 Those reviews have a 2-star rating. As described by the others, it performed exactly as expected My laminater worked well for a few sheets, but then stopped working, ruining my item and leaving me unable to remove the laminated This frustration is driving me crazy! A laminator that is reliable and quality is all I need am very disappointed as I expected to receive that product for close to $100!.

I guess it'll go away then. It's been three days since I posted last! As for the GBC Laminator, it certainly did not disappoint, especially for its price. In fact, it was delivered on time even though the box was not there. I have been impressed with the laminator and it has not failed after first use, like other brands I have read about in the past. I will be completely honest with you The only time I've used it was There was only one sign I needed laminated and this unit came with a bunch of pouches (I think there were 25 or 30). I thought that was cool. bought a useless pack of *single-sided* sheets. I don't know HOW those are supposed to be used! The product looks great and works really quickly, as long as If you would rather, let the machine bring the item through, without you having to push or pull it. Everything went smoothly, and I am very pleased with how my sign came out! There was a comment about bend from a reviewer, huh? Using it for the first time did not present any problems for me. While the manual pictures are rather bizarre, the game works, and that is all that counts! I wish you all the best, cheers!.

As soon as they arrived, the boxes had been smashed and torn. Arriving dead at the scene was the first one. To get a replacement took me two full weeks, it was defective and did not work properly. I noticed a slight smell when I turned it on for the next time. A few minutes later it didn't spit the finished product out the back, so it kept moving the sheet with a noisy motor. In my case, the process had not yet ended, so I had to pull the sheets out the back. The sheets were also warped as a result. This item will be returned to me as well I won't order.

It is easy to seal a single business card to a poster or mailer foldout with this GBC laminater. When it is heating or cooling, occasionally it makes a lot of noise Once laminated, it will be nearly silent to run next time. laminator's ability to seal properly is not affected by the noise. The fact that it is intermittent is a bit strange. My overall opinion is that it is worth owning, and the fact that I can seal fourteen inch posters is a useful feature.
