Apache Laminating Pouches, 5 mil, 4x6" Size, 500 Pack

Laminating is something that I do a great deal (as in, I have bought and used over 700 pouches of multiple brands over the past three Apache 5 mil pouches are currently my favorite type, although I have not found many differences between laminating pouches that would sway me from my preferences based on price differences. This pouch was purchased specifically for use with my recently acquired 5 mil Amazon Basics Laminator (this is an Lamination was completed with a material that was 3 mils thick Laminated paper has a somewhat flimsy feel to it. Unfortunately, I needed the strength and quality of a true 5 Mil laminate, and these pouches absolutely do not provide it. Having said that, these pouches are in fact exceptionally high quality for 3 Mil lamination jobs. I was contacted by Apache to apologize for the inconvenience of their product not meeting my expectations one week after I wrote this review. Upon receiving my money back, Apache sent me a pack of 7 mil laminate pouches for no additional fee. In my opinion, this proves to me that the company is very passionate about their brand and product and wants to exceed the expectations of their customers. I am updating this review from 3 stars to 4 stars. Apache, thanks for all you do!.

There is no need to worry with these sheets as they are easy to handle and It allows the finalized laminate to be cut as needed without losing its grip on the inner paper because the protective film is clear. If you write down your food recipes in this way, these tend to be perfect to use for creating educational material and storing them. Dry erase markers can be used as markers with the bonded film, and the finish will not be damaged. Neither the sheets nor the air pockets in them were evident after going through the unit.

A heads up I apologize to the manufacturer of the Apache laminating pouches for my mistake. It was not the lamination pouches that were the cause of the cloudy appearance. According to my new research, the problem may have been with the Scotch laminator I just bought at Walmart for My third attempt at 5 mil laminate sounded cloudy to me, and I had tried a number of brands and they all did the same thing. I was pretty fed up with the cloudiness, and very disappointed with this brand. I had good results with the Scotch laminator when I laminated the Universal laminate to 3 mil. Clear and vivid colors were made possible by the crystal clear water. Since I assumed the Scotch laminator would do the 5 mil job just fine, I assumed it would work just as well. As a result, it's a new machine. I can only imagine that it's either not getting hot enough or that some laminate products require a bit higher temperature without knowing which brand it is. What do you know? Having saved one of the Apache laminating pouches for testing in another machine I had on order, I saved it for testing in that machine. Despite the fact that the Apache 5 mil pouches were only $7, I saved the pouch. It cost 96 for 100 pouches and I was told it might be better in a laminating machine. It happened to work better though. We came up with a very clear conclusion. As I come back to repurchase them, I discover that they are no longer available at that low price. This is a copy of my original review. In their advertisement, it is referred to as "CRYSTAL clear. ". There is no such thing! It is only glossy brochure paper that I am laminating. It looks like the adhesive is foggy everywhere, which I assume is the cause of the haze. As for the price, it was the only good thing. I decided to take a chance anyways. The Universal Laminate 3 mil was purchased from Walmart. com in the past. Having crystal clear lenses makes the colors of the image appear very bright and clear. It is impossible to see spots or fog no matter what the angle of the light. Because I use the same brochure paper every time, the problem does not appear to be related to the paper.
