There's no doubt! I'm also not sure if they have a matte option.
I've been laminating for a long time and have never used a pouch before. The pouches that I received are in good working order.
The pouches have a total thickness of 3 mil. Thank you for getting in touch.
Yes, only cut the sheets after they've been laminated, and leave a 1/4" border around the laminated object to keep the sheet from coming apart. Thanks for asking!

Handle them with care when putting paper inside and then inserting them into the machine, and they will perform admirably. If you handle them rough, one or both sides will crinkle and bend, and the bend may or may not be completely pressed out when the pouch is run through the machine. br>One tip for those who may be using one sheet for several or more small pieces of paper: To keep those small pieces of paper in place before closing the pouch, use a cheap glue stick marketed for school use to secure the paper in place. The glue will not show or mar the words or pictures on the paper once it has passed through the machine. br>br>When used on the outside of our building, they last a year or more before deteriorating due to the weather. They last longer if they are not exposed to rain or snow. They last for many years inside our building, assuming that customers or employees do not mishandle them, which does happen occasionally. br>br>Another tip: If you're laminating a single small piece of paper, such as a photo, there are small sizes available that I'd recommend looking into. I don't think it's possible to cut an 8-foot tree in half. Reduce a 1/2 x 11 laminating sheet to a 4 x 5 sheet and keep the rest. I've never dared to use the scraps from cutting down an 8-foot tree. Use what's left over from a 1/2 x 11 sheet before putting it through the machine. Although you could try using a glue stick to hold the two pieces of the laminating sheet together while going through the machine, I'm afraid it wouldn't hold together very well. That's something I've never dared to do.
It was a success. I bought these extended size pouches to use in my Scotch Laminator to laminate copies of my grandmother's obituaries for family members. I wish you got more for your money, but I've used Scotch thermal pouches several times and have only had issues twice; I was concerned that an off-brand would not seal as well as a Scotch thermal pouch for a critical document. Anything going wrong is something you don't want to happen. These were just long enough for my obituary, but wide enough that I was able to laminate two in one pouch.
I was looking for Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches, and these were perfect. For important family documents and family history, I use Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches. These Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches come highly recommended by me. Scotch brand was a great price, and they've held up well to the demands we've put them through. I use a Scotch Brand Laminater for this. The seal is excellent, and it hasn't peeled or come undone in my experience. The kids enjoy assisting me with my projects and have no trouble separating the film and inserting whatever we are laminating. Scotch Thermal Laminating Pouches get five stars from me because they are exactly what they say they are and they do a good job.
Read customer reviews to see if other brands (or no brand types) are a hit or miss for you. Scotch is truly exceptional. And this product (number 8) is a good example of that. 9 x 14, 20 pcs) is a good investment. br>br>I used it to laminate a number of widely used but prized bookmarks that I wanted to keep. After cutting everything out, I just needed to touch it up by laminating it again. If you're only laminating paper, it'll be perfect the first time. br>I was worried that running it through the laminator multiple times would damage the plastic, but it didn't! It was still strong. br>I also like the thickness, which isn't too thick or thin for general laminating.
However. I had recently purchased a low-cost thermal laminator, and these pouches perform admirably. However, I fully expected them to work because they are manufactured by 3M, which is known for producing high-quality products. It takes a few moments to insert the item into the pouch, and having an "extra hand" would be helpful, but it works. The final product "brightens" the laminated item while also providing a reasonable amount of stiffness and protection. Normally, I'll use a three-dimensional model. hole punching allows the item to be inserted into a binder or neatly tacked to a wall, and the material is durable enough to do so. I've also used two pieces of paper stacked on top of each other for a two-dimensional effect. This is also a two-sided product that works well. Please keep in mind that this is a long-term fixation to the laminated item. It's impossible to get rid of it without causing damage to the item.
Pouches are fantastic. They can be used to laminate a variety of classroom materials. br>I've been using these for years because I haven't found a better / cheaper pouch.
As described on the package, this is an accurate size for craft projects using standard size paper. There are no complaints because the product meets the Scotch quality standard.
Thermal pouches like these are fantastic. I tried them on and they were perfect. They can be used for a variety of things, but I've only used them for standard and legal paper sizes so far. Wallet cards (such as car insurance, group membership cards, and business cards) can also benefit from it. I even used it to laminate a couple of photos. With these pouches, I tried the "cold press" method and it didn't work out so well, so I had to resort to using the hot press instead; they're probably too thick or something.
