Everything was fine until it wasn't anymore

This item was on my teacher's wish list, and it was fantastic, but it stopped working less than 90 days after my first use. Only when the pointer is plugged in and charging does it work. That is incompatible with my ability to move around the classroom. It was a huge letdown because I had been enjoying it up until that point.

When I'm moving around the room and need to point at something on the board, I use this little pointer, which also functions as a wireless mouse, in my classroom. Although the mouse feature is a little sluggish, it has proven to be a lifesaver thus far!.
