We were in a major South American city, and this device was connected to both the built-in network service and a private wifi network on multiple occasions, both together and separately, and in both cases, this device continued to fail. Although the set up and function were not difficult to figure out, using it was extremely frustrating and time consuming. I'll return it as soon as possible. Not a good idea. We processed multiple required up dates, so keep that in mind. We tried everything we could except buy a SIM card and data service, which was not possible in the country we were in because you need local identification to buy/obtain a SIM card and data service; it was also charged fully on the first charge but still had a very short battery life even on days when we used it very little; and it was charged completely on the first charge but still had a very short battery life even on days when we used it very little. The high price tag was not justified. With the free Google Translate app, we got much better results. and the ability to download dictionaries so that I can continue to provide translation services even when my phone is out of service or not connected. My entire family ended up downloading the conversation translation app. Neither your time nor your money should be wasted.

The Pockettalk was purchased for the purpose of translating from English to Russian. br>Amazing, fluid, and enjoyable. It was simple to navigate and translate for all of the important occurrences of essential cross communication as a separate tool, rather than having to use an app. br>I really like it. I BOUGHT IT FOR WORK AND FIND IT HAS MANY APPLICATIONS DUE TO HOW EASY IT IS TO USE. LET IT BE USED BY OUR MEDICAL DEPARTMENT, AND THEY KEEP IT. I'M GOING TO ORDER MORE FOR WORK. Based on an article I read about travel essentials, I bought a Pocketalk (along with their lanyard and protective case, which are both very nice). I recently took my Pocketalk to Europe for a long trip, and it performed admirably. Pocketalk included two years of data and free software updates, so I didn't have to look for WiFi when I arrived in Europe. Pocketalk made everything easier, whether I was speaking with the concierge at my hotel, ordering food, traveling in different taxis, or speaking with my business customers. I can't say enough good things about this device, and I've recommended it to everyone I know. Wow.
