The Kyocera ECOSYS-200 is a new printer from me For our church office, I purchased the M5521CDW. I tried to purchase a Kyocera from a local business machine vendor, but they were unable to get one in a timely manner or knew it would not be available for some time. There was no more to be done - I must say that the item arrived perfectly packaged. It was relatively easy to set up and I got it up and running in no time. It is very quick and quiet while in operation and is so much quicker than our other The fact that it uses hard buttons instead of a touchscreen is one of the things I liked about it. It's awesome that this workstation is in the office. In addition to not using it fully, I don't even know how to use it. Simple and easy to use with all laptops, iPads, and mobile I found 600 dpi working fine so far for scanning photos. Some might find it inadequate, but I find it adequate A secure cloud service allows me to have access to all of our family's important life documents and to keep them organized efficiently.

It is a printer that has mixed feelings about it. I was able to unpack and install the printer function easily. There is a default DHCP IP address assigned to this printer, which may be fine for some, but I prefer to manually set it up. There is much to be desired about the user interface, as you will see in the comments below. While you can select the static IP you want, you must disable the DHCP first if you do not want to be able to edit the settings. I think Kyocera needs to make their products more user friendly and if you choose static IP, we should automatically disable DHCP because it's either that or no DHCP at all. In this particular case, scanning and "Send to email" had a higher degree of complexity than they should have had. worked on various labels such as HP, Epson and Samsung, the Kyocera menu system is archaic, slow, and 10 years out of date when compared to those other brands. There is so much complexity in the menus that even an experienced IT person had trouble using them. To scan/email from the printer, you need to use the antiquated and confusing menu system. There is no explanation in the PDF manuals on how to configure the scanning and email capabilities. On other brands, it takes me 5 minutes to setup scan to email and scan to folders, but on this brand, it took me hours to find out how to do it. Often, you may experience connection errors when trying to set up scan to email. You can increase the timeout period to 90 seconds in these cases).
I have also spent hours looking up specs and reviews, but the duplex capabilities of this printer have not been clarified. It is important to understand that this printer is only able to print in duplex. By using the ADF, the unit is not capable of scanning or copying double-sided pages.
