Questions & Answers

Are there toner cartridges included with the Canon PC170?

Is the Canon PLC 170 printer compatible with laser toner.

There are 3 questions I have Is this something I have to do with a computer. It will just sit on a desk and I intend to make an occasional copy of it. #3. What type of cartridge should I use to replace it. Do you have one that can print in both black and white and color. The one I have now just sits on the desk and does not require a computer to use. By doing that, I am spared from going...?

There is no connection to any computer. This printer only prints in black and white. With this printer, large cartridges are used. The cost was between $ 70 and $ 80. The following is the total amount 00 and I'm going to spend $100. You may have to pay up to $1000, depending on where you purchase Unlike cartridges you purchase for your PC printer, those you buy for the cartridge last much longer. Printing something off my printer will help save time, but when I need more copies, I use my PC Personal Copier. Using it, you can print 3000 copies You can make up to 4000 copies, depending on how dark you make them. I like it a lot! It is much cheaper in the long run to use a cartridge.

My computer cannot print an email or article off my computer but I want to print it from the Canon PC170?

I'm DB. Welcome to the site. In spite of its small size, the Canon PC170 can be used as a standalone model. As far as I know, it does not include USB or other connectivity and is not wi-fi In either case, there's no fi. All you need to plug into an outlet is this model, which is simply a copier. This is a very old-fashioned style The design is a bit old-fashioned, but it serves its purpose well. Previously, I owned a PC 120, and I recently purchased a PC 170 because the other one died. The program is used for business and financial transactions To copy the B&W files only, and to transfer the B&W files To carve, acetone is used to convert sketches into printmaking blocks. There's probably more to it than you ever imagined!

Are there any options to enlarge the image on the Canon PC 170 copy machine?

In my opinion, this is not the case. My computer has been around for several years but I have never been able to enlarge copies.

This is a Canon PC 170 black/white portable As a result of an error in billing, I had to make a copy of a Medicare payment
5/5

I had my spouse in the car waiting for the parcel/ship store to open a few customers were After running errands on the way back, I stopped at the Post Office, but there was no paper for the copier, the line of customers was long so someone would have to load paper into the machine, so I went back to the parcel/ship store and finally got Due to my spouse's physical limitations, I decided to buy a Canon PC 170 copier from Amazon. Now that my copy machine is portable, easy to use, and easy to store, I have the convenience of making copies whenever I need them. Perfectly in working order, the copier has just been delivered. In addition to removing the copy machine carefully from the box, the box was saved as well. It was necessary to pull the cartridge s tape to open it and insert it into the printer. Using the paper tray and copier tray, the instructions were followed as per the instructions. When the copier was plugged in and the instructions were copied on multipurpose paper, a perfect copy was obtained. My office does not have an all-in-one printer all I want is a copier I can plug in, turn on, place the copy on the glass, press a button, and get 1 perfect print out in black and white or multiple copies if necessary. Unlike other copier models, this copier is simple to use, I don't have to learn complicated instructions, I get to make copies faster, I don't have to wait in line to make copies, I save time,.

I find this to be perfect for what I need
5/5

My computer has been acting up for the past 8 months. Everything I hoped for has been delivered. It is instant on, which is the best part. It's perfect if you need a copy of a business form or receipt or if you need a copy of book. I have tested both modes (newpaper/dirty background and regular) and they work My FedEx Office can do tiny copy jobs at my house without taking me to another branch of the chain. I need a lot of those tiny In addition to the extra convenience this copier offers, it also saves on energy costs. As I never travel with it, I can't make any sense Therefore, it has had an easy life. If I copy from a paperback book, I make sure not to press too hard. As a result of my gentle handling, its performance has been perfect. The initial cartridge still serves me well, as I use it regularly for copying ideas for my book of business ideas.

There is a starter cartridge to be wary of
3/5

I just spent $100 (plus $80 for the A hundred dollars was spent on this to give my elderly father who loves photocopying a copy. As far as I tested it, it worked It is a bit complex to set up In his case, my father would not be able to set up the machine, but should be able to use the device. He should primarily use the device for archiving and light copying. This printer ships with a starter cartridge, as it does with the majority of consumer printers. A legal "trick" is being used here for the purpose of "price concealment". Cost of the device is comprised of the cost of the Canon E20 cartridge (2000 pages) PLUS the cost of the device. As of this writing, the Canon E20 costs $88. The OEM versions are much less expensive, but their quality is obviously much less certain. Thus the true minimum cost of this device depends on how the vendor sells it to Amazon. Its price range is $190 to $230. There is no clarity on what the "starter cartridge" can contain. Other Considering how high it is, I am surprised that it is so.

It's been 21 years since Canon bought its third personal copier! When I bought my first Canon personal copier (PC100) in 1987, it was my first of many
5/5

The PC420 was upgraded to the PC420 in 1999 due to its ability to make multiple copies at once (i. e. A year ago, the PC420 began pulling the paper in slightly askew, and as of this week has stopped pulling it in. It is the right thing to expect a Canon PC to be a "light to medium duty" B&W printer Many years have been spent using W copy as a work horse. (I'd note that the PC170 looks identical to the PC420 from the inside. It is quite expensive to buy the cartridges, but it is still significantly cheaper per page than ink jet copying (I have an HP scanner/copier that works well except that it costs a lot more to buy the cartridges). Besides the silly round knob at the top, the PC170 is a nice improvement in style. According to reports, it was used for stacking. Copy (This is only for personal use. Is it necessary to stack these by more than one person? You do not need to buy replacement cartridges at full retail price. By the way, the price of my first Canon copier was $429 (after a $50 rebate), the second was $250 (after a $50 rebate), and the third was $135. Why aren't there any rebates? Technology is wonderful, right? My PC170 arrived with free ground shipping in 2 days as well.

You cannot beat it for a copy machine at home
5/5

Great little copier that copies a page at a time, but can make multiple copies at once. The device takes up little space in a home office and can save you time and money on trips to the nearest copy shop. As a Canon user for the last few years, this is my second personal copier from Canon. With the first one, I was able to make it last well over 20 years with a repair after about the first 10 years (new roller and Thirteen years after it began, a small plastic part in the machinery that pulls in the paper sheep finally snapped. In the past two years, I bought a new part as I could not find a replacement. My old one is in the closet in case I ever need to replace that one little plastic part. I was going to buy another one for a different location, but I can't seem to find one. As far as I know, they are still being made.

The little copier does a great job! This is a highly recommended book
4/5

The work I do has one of these for more than six years. It is still using the original toner cartridge and I make a few copies a week on it. It was so good I bought one for my home a year or two It took one month for the copies to start spotting. There was no way to exchange it with Amazon before it was too late. I am lucky to have a friend who used to repair Xerox machines, so he checked it out and was able to fix it. I have now restored it to its original state. The convenience of not visiting a service center saved me the trouble. While the machine is almost unequipped with features, it is so much more convenient and faster than scanning a document into a computer and then printing it. This copier made my life a lot easier and I would recommend it highly. My only reason for giving it 4 stars is because of the spotting problem I had at first.
