Cons In general, I would prefer all buttons to be white with a colored lettering rather than black with a colored lettering*Misc As a teacher, I am quite dumbfounded when I hear about students returning Casio models and replacing them with Ti models because the school teachers claim the students aren't qualified to use Casios. I totally see where they're getting it wrong! Since Casio's are so intuitive and easy to use, you do not need an instructor to explain it to you. They are my three eldest kids who all used the Casio FX–100 While in high school and college, they used CG10 computers (calculus, chemistry, physics) and continually noted how much simpler the keystrokes were on their CG10 computers than all of their Ti computers. It is simply the newer version of the CG10 that my fourth son is using, so it's simply the CG50 for him.

My TI calculators are noticeably slower, and I find it easier to use than the one in my class. The device works well for me, has no issues, seems to save battery life, and it is very quick to turn on and off. It uses 4 AAA batteries rather than 4 AA batteries, as the product description states. This calculator has many positive qualities, so what are the downsides?
