They sent it in a plastic mailer with a few other things. The pens themselves were not ruined when they arrived, but the box in which they were packaged was squished. It's not a big deal, but it would be nice if Amazon could figure out a better way to package items for shipping. br>br>These pens didn't work very well. When I tried to remove the small rubber ball from the tips, it broke into small pieces, as if the rubber was old, brittle, or otherwise compromised. br>br>I tried writing with each pen after ensuring that all of the defective rubber/plastic balls on the pen's tips had been removed. Some of the pens continued to skip while writing even after "warming" them up by scribbling. br>br>For the pens that did not skip, there was no smoothness when writing, which is one of the main reasons I prefer gel pens. br>br>My review is for the product I received from Amazon, but I'm starting to think Amazon keeps inventory on hand for too long or stores pens incorrectly because I've had similar results with several brands over the last couple of years, all of which I purchased directly from Amazon. I'm not sure I'll buy pens from Amazon in the future.

BELOW IS THE MOST RECENT UPDATE. These Sharpie gel pens come in a white barrel, which I chose. The white plastic barrels appear to be quite cheap, which disappointed me. However, they are pleasant to hold and use when writing. They have a nice writing style. I haven't had any smearing and there have been no skips. These are really nice. I chose white over black because it was easier to work with. They are unmistakably identifiable. It works by clicking, and your fingers have a nice grip that keeps the pen in place - It has a slightly gray color, a silver click top, and a band above the finger grip (that is NOT cushy or soft). I just wish they didn't have such a shabby appearance. plastic! br>UPDATE JANUARY 26, 2021. Just a quick note to let you know that I've been working on something new. The ink from the pens bleeds through the paper. Sharpie used to make a paper writer (NOT gel) that was extremely effective and did not bleed. It was a click pen, to be precise. It's something I'd like to see them do again. I only have a few of those that are still functional. Because of the bleed through, I had to deduct another star. It was a huge let down.

I made a promise to myself that I would obtain some of my own. I bought two at a local store and then came across this box of them. They're fantastic! Because we use our pens so frequently, nurses are quite protective of them. Personally, I believe that all pen manufacturers should first test their products with nurses, as we are the true test market. Lol.

They have a nice weight to them and are very comfortable to hold. The quality, on the other hand, is poor and inconsistent over the course of the pens' lives and even within the pens themselves. Some pens are great at first, but as time goes on, they lose their consistency. They don't work as well as more expensive brands no matter how I hold the pen, what angle they make contact with the paper, or how much pressure I apply. br>br>Spend an extra $3 on a Pilot G2 pack or a set of Pentel Energel pens. Unlike the Sharpie "Gel" pens, they are well worth the money.

I'm not a fan of gel pens in general, but these are incredible. These are comfortable to hold, and they allow me to write on my lab slips without smearing my already sloppy handwriting. Because I put the black body pens in my Christmas goody bags for my coworkers, I bought the white body pens for myself so that I'll always know if my pens are 'borrowed. '.

Joys. These were recommended to me by a fellow leftist. They didn't smear, according to the hander (which is correct). I discovered that if these pens are not held perfectly vertically, they will skip. I'm a tattoo artist who specializes in tattoos. I'm a Joy lady, and these don't even come close. I'm a paper planner, and I know there are a lot of pen aficionados out there, but I'm still recovering from back surgery, so I can't throw hands right now. GAME ON in three months, though.

This is my new work pen. It's a dark ink that dries quickly. Although it is comfortable to hold, it is on the "skinnier" side, which may be uncomfortable for those who prefer a thicker pen body and may take some getting used to. The white pen body is also very appealing from an aesthetic standpoint.

  Finally, the ideal pen has been created. They have a beautiful writing style. I'm also going to buy some in blue ink. (Unlike regular sharpies, they don't "stay" on plastic. ).
