WARNING: Because writing is an important part of my job as an artist, I've always had high standards for the feel of my writing instruments. br>br>In the late 1990s, when finding ink for my fountain pens became too difficult to be practical, I switched to Uniball gel pens. Since then, I've relied on them. They glide across the paper with the same fluidity as a fountain pen, but without the mess. This particular model, the 207, is no longer available in any of the retail stores in my city, but as long as I can still find them on Amazon, I'll keep writing. br>br>What is the significance of a four-star rating? Why not a five-star rating? It's because they run out of water much more quickly now than they did even five years ago. If you only need them to sign documents and take short notes, they'll last a long time; however, if you're a writer working on a first draft in longhand or a student taking notes from a long-hand source, they'll last a lot longer. If you give a long lecture, these pens will only get you 8 pages. Without running out of ink, I was able to write for ten pages. It wasn't always like this, but that won't stop me from gliding across a blank page in search of writer's bliss.

My professors must enjoy grading papers written in such bold, legible ink because it makes my lecture notes look sexy. br>br>I've been a repeat customer twice, and I've used both the retractable and non-retractable models. This pen comes in both retractable and non-retractable versions, and while the non-retractable version is more convenient, the retractable For grip, I prefer retractable because they skip less than the non-retractable version. So, once they've finished writing their last lines, I'll be back for more at the end of the semester. br>br>And when those pens run out, I'll be right back. And once more. The clip is also extremely useful, as well as being extremely durable.
