Just Wow. I already have a beautiful Scriveiner leather journal. I decided to purchase the pen as soon as it was announced. br>br>At this price, I can't believe the quality; it's absolutely stunning! The pen is substantial – not so substantial that it exhausts you, but substantial in its own right. The black lacquer gives the piece a very high-end appearance and feel. The gold accents are merely a finishing touch. br>br>Writing with it is pure bliss! It's so smooth that it's taken the place of a high-end pen. end fountain pen as my favorite; I've already received two compliments on it after only one day of use! br>br>It comes packaged in a stylish black and gold gift box. The pen sits on a layer that can be lifted, and underneath it is a spare refill. br>br>This would make an excellent gift; I've purchased pens that cost hundreds of dollars and are nowhere near as good.

I bought the Scriveiner pen on a whim after reading the reviews. Aside from that, it looked great for the price, and I'm a pen collector with over 1,000 pens of various types. I recently received and purchased several MontblancTM pens that were quite expensive. I believe I have tried every single pen imaginable in my search for the perfect match. The Scriveiner pen was only $25 when I found it. Why not, I reasoned, at the age of 99? For the price, this is an excellent pen that is comparable to a high-end pen. (At least for me), it writes smoothly across the page and does not skip. The weight and size are perfect for my hands, making writing that much easier. I do a lot of research and take a lot of notes, and this pen will make it that much easier for me. Thank you once more, Scriveiner.

Scriveiner's Rollerball Pen is a joy to use. This pen is stunning to look at, and it feels just as good as any other pen I've ever owned, including my Mont Blanc Fountain Pen. All of my papers, journals, and documents are written with ease and precision with the Rollerball pen. It's become a go-to pen for me. br>br>I adore it so much that I've bought it for several of my friends who adore it as well. br>br>Thank you, Scrivener, for creating such a lovely, high-quality pen at a price that everyone can afford. The word "LONDON" is prominently displayed on the gift box, emphasizing the British brand. The pen, on the other hand, is made in China, according to the sleeve that covers the gift box. It's not exactly dishonest, but it's certainly deceptive and misleading.

Pros: The balance is excellent. The pen is a little bulkier than some, but it fits well in my hands for short periods of time. This isn't the stick pen you're looking for.
Cons: Perhaps a tad too heavy for older hands. Without tiring my hand, I wouldn't be able to write the great American novel or even a long letter. The ink also skips a lot, which is why the rating is so low. Regardless of whether the stroke is a curve, an upstroke, a downstroke, or a cross bar, the ink in this leaves gaping spaces. My Pilot G2 pen writes beautifully and effortlessly, and it's a lot less expensive. I'm hoping that the ink was simply old, and I'll try a new refill to see if the skipping issue is resolved. If not, the pen, in my opinion, is completely useless. br>br>9/21/19 Edit - Customer Service was gracious enough to refund the original pen's purchase price, minus the shipping costs that were already included in the price, and they did send a replacement pen with a new ink cartridge. Excellent customer service, and I received the replacement ink refills I ordered at the same time. Sooo. When I went to replace the refill, I noticed that the spring that holds the pen in place was missing. I can't help but laugh. When things go wrong, they can sometimes just keep on going wrong. Fortunately, I'm a pen hound who adores stationery and all things related to it, and I had some old pens that probably should've been tossed out a long time ago, so I found one with a spring and voila. The pen is now perfect for writing. So. After some consideration, I believe my original one-star rating should have been for the ink refill, as that was the real issue with all the skipping and such; The pen itself is well-made, attractive, and comfortable to hold. It's a joy to write with. I'm content with myself. This is something I'm sure I'll use for a long time.

When I was younger, I wish I had had this pen. br>br>I purchased this pen for my own use. It felt great when I first picked it up. I began writing with it and noticed a significant improvement in my writing! I've always had sloppy handwriting, and I recall my elementary school teacher telling me that I was using the wrong pen. In order to improve my writing, I needed a heavier pen. I can't believe how much of a difference this pen has made in the quality of my handwriting. br>br>My son has similar handwriting to mine and has always written with a regular department store pen (which is very light). I never considered purchasing a luxury pen for him, but I'm going to do so now so that he can improve his writing skills. br>br>I'm not familiar with pens, so I'm not sure why this makes such a difference, but it's nicely weighted and balanced in your hand, and the writing is very smooth, so there's no pushing or forcing. Additionally, it appears to be fantastic! br>br>I wholeheartedly endorse!.

This is the best purchase I've ever made—I used it right away when I got it today—1) the weight is just right, 2) the writing instrument is smooth, and 3) the rollerball ink flows nicely. 4) There's a spare refill included in addition to the one in the pen, 5) there's a nice card inside the box informing of 1 year warrantee with registration and potential coupon for future purchase 6) I like to support purchases of this product made in the USA and a portion of proceeds is donated towards climate issues; I'll buy another for a giftbr>br>Ps I've been using the throw away pens recently, since I lose a lot of pens and/ This pen is mine to keep; I'm not going to lend it out, and it would be even better if I could have my name engraved on it. 5 stars.
