Questions & Answers

What's the difference between the "pearl" version and the standard blue barrel version?

Good day, client! br>In terms of mold shape, mechanical function, and ink type, the Energel RTX and Pearl pens are identical. The color of the barrels and the comfort grips are the only differences. br>With sincere appreciation, br>Consumer Quality Assurance teambr>Pentel of America, Ltd. 4000 E. 4000 E. 4000 E. 4000 E. 4000 E. 4000 E. 4 Ontario, CA 91761 (USA)br>1- Airport Dr., Suite Cbr>Ontario, CA 91761 (USA)br>1- Airport Dr., Suite Cbr>Ontario, CA 91761 (USA)br +1 (855) 528-4444 4101br>warranty@pentel is the email address for the warranty department at Pentel. com

Is the ink acidic or alkaline? Is it possible to get something for free that is also archival?

The terms "safety" and "archival" aren't the same. It is unlikely to be archival ink because it is designed for everyday use, and archival ink is a stain that clogs a tip quickly, making it unsuitable for daily use. Archival ink was still used with a quill and straight from the bottle up until the 1980s. Although archival ink is now available in pen form at craft stores, the tip may still need to be cleaned on a regular basis to ensure that the stain flows evenly.

Is the tip of these pens a needle or a chisel?

Pens with a needle tip

Is it true that these colors will bleed through paper?

These aren't cheap pens; they're of excellent quality. Every day, I use them to highlight important passages in my Bible. The pages are a little on the thin side. They don't bleed through to the other side.

Now is the time for all my fellow lefties to rejoice! Pens for us! Traditional ballpoint pens are not my friend because I am left-handed
5/5

Standard ballpoint pens refuse to write properly for me, even though I don't use the "lefty hook. " I have to turn/twist them all the time, redo my grip on them, or just throw them at the wall out of frustration. These pens, on the other hand, write smoothly every time; I adore all of the Pentel Energel pens; my favorite is the RTX in needle point, but these are also fantastic; Lefties, in particular. The ink is always smooth, there is no smudging, and they are simple to use. Because I'm writing from a different angle, I don't have to rotate the pen every other word to get the ink to flow. I work in the veterinary field, so I write a lot, and using "regular" or "normal" pens becomes unbearably frustrating. For the past six years, I've only used Pentel Energel pens. These pens are everything a lefty could want. Trust me. Simply place an order for them. It is an investment that you will not be sorry for.

So far, it's working for this lefty! I can't believe I'm typing this, but I've recently been having an odd experience with writing pens
5/5

Most of the pens I've used recently have started to "skip" at points, where the ink stops flowing halfway through a single letter, as if it were out of ink, but it isn't. With the exception of "gel" style ink pens, this has happened with every pen I've used, including my beloved Zebras. However, as a lefty, I end up with a lot of smears when using those. I've come to the conclusion that something has changed in my writing style. But I'm not sure what that is. br>After reading reviews from other left-handed people, I decided to give these Pentel "EnerGel" pens a try. handers. I was able to obtain the number 0br>. Surfaces that are easy to clean and have no skips, as well as minimal-maintenance surfaces. (No smearing with the left hand. ) It's saved me a lot of time and effort!.

Smoother than the G2, with no smudges, but it runs out of ink much more quickly and isn't as well made
5/5

I've been using G2 0 for a while now. I've been using 7's for years and love them, but I heard these were smoother, so I had to try them. They're more refined! br>br> Actually, it's much smoother. Because I tend to write poorly with high resistance pen tips, the tip glides over the page, improving my handwriting legibility. In addition, the ink dries faster than the G2 and does not smudge or glob nearly as much. Now for the drawbacks. br>br> The pen runs out of ink quickly, and it only lasts about half as long as a G2. In my opinion, the pen isn't as well-made as it could be: The grip isn't as comfortable (the G2 has a narrower, sculpted grip), and the plastic body and button don't feel as high quality as a G2 or Signo, despite the fact that it appears to be much more expensive. Also, if you need resistance to keep control of the pen, these might be too smooth. br>br>A a a a a a a a a a a A G2 0 could possibly be replaced with a 5. 7, because it would use less ink and, hopefully, still be as smooth. However, I have yet to try it. br>br>07th Edit- 2021: I've been using Energel 0 for a while now. I've been at 5 for a few months and it's a fantastic compromise! It's still silky smooth, but it lasts a long time compared to the 0. 7 (it feels like it should be at least twice as long). If you want a smooth pen that lasts a long time and has a finer line than 0, this is the pen to get.

Excellent writer with a passable physique
4/5

I used the Energel Needle and found it to be quite effective. a zero point 7mm. These are very well written. The ink is bold and consistent in appearance. They have a smoother writing style than the G2, S-style. At a concentration of 0, use Gel, Inkjoy Gel, or Pilot Juice. 7mm. The needle tip looks similar to the Pilot Precise rollerballs, and the effect is similar. They're ideal for tracing rulers or fine detail work where you need to see the tip clearly. br>br>The body is in good shape. It's a little on the heavy side, but that's fine. The shape is nothing special. The button has a large size. The button has a lot of wiggle room. Although it functions flawlessly, it has a squishy feel to it. It's not like the clicky pen buttons you're used to seeing. It has a slight tremor. I ended up putting the cartridge in a Sarasa Clip, which is a less expensive alternative. body that is not only more attractive, but also more comfortable and functional. br>br>However, I did try the refill in a couple of different pen bodies. It is a perfect fit for the Sarasa Clip, Pilot Juice, and Sharpie S-Series. The bodies are made of gel. It will fit into both the Jetstream Standard and the Inkjoy Gel bodies, but it will be a tight fit in both. It'll work, but it'll be a little stiffer and less satisfying to click. This is supposed to work with the Pentel Philography, but I don't have one to test it with, even though it would be a good match for everyday writing.

I have about a dozen of these
5/5

It's great for lefties because it doesn't smear. I bought it as a present for someone. When a greeting card is passed around and someone borrows the pen to sign the card, everyone always says, "Wow, that's a great pen. " “. And it's true that they glide and don't smear, which is fantastic, and the color is vibrant, so I keep an eye out for them on Amazon when they're on sale. Also, the refills are excellent. I probably use these pens exclusively, and I've gone through two sets of ink refills because they're that good. The purple is fantastic. The brown is rich, and I've never seen another good brown pen. Pink is probably the best (and it's the color I give out the most). At work, we aren't allowed to use gel pens, but this one is okay. BC doesn't smear, I'm guessing.

But, as much as I enjoy these pens, These pens have been in my collection for a long time! I like how smooth they are when I write with them, but every single one of them, regardless of metal or pin tip, and regardless of color, is smooth
3/5

Before the ink runs out, they all come to a halt. This usually happens halfway through the filling process, but it can happen even sooner. Mind you, I go through a pen every week or so. I do a lot of writing, and there have been times when the darn pen has stopped working and I've almost ripped a hole in my page. Sharpie S is the new ink for me. Gel pens are available in blue, black, and red, but the color range is limited. br>br>To cut a long story short, I've had them for a long time and have probably spent WAY too much money on them, but I still enjoy the color variety and the way they feel when writing. until they decide to stop writing I'm not trying to persuade you to buy these pens, but seriously - they're fantastic. S. Sharpie is a brand of marker. Gels. The quality is far superior. Simply put, the grip isn't as comfortable (in my opinion) and there are fewer color options.
