The same thing happened to me. Just above the grip, there was a crack in the pen; The pen isn't holding its shape. After the pieces start flying around, you'll have to keep looking for them. I've already purchased refills, but once those are gone, I won't be purchasing any more.
They were made in Mexico, as far as I know (May 2020). Definitely a low-cost product - When I got them, even the box was falling apart. One of the barrels had already developed a crack. We could blame it on poor packaging, but my "old favorite" from Japan would not have cracked in transit. The barrel color was also different, which I noticed right away. br>For the past 20 years, I've been using the ones made in Japan, and they've been - were emphasized - This is the pen I prefer.
On a single page, there are three tip sizes to choose from: 5mm . 7mm and 1mm are the two smallest sizes available. br>Not all sizes and color combinations are available in the multiple pack quantity options, and not all color and size combinations are available in the single pack quantity options. Regardless of the size or color chosen, the pack quantity selected will be delivered, despite what the generic picture depicts, as it is only one of the many options available.
The ink is waterproof, and you can highlight with it if you want to. Before highlighting, make sure the ink is completely dry.

These pens are labeled "Made in Mexico," but they aren't of the same caliber as those made in Japan. When one piece of the pen screws into the other, the plastic cracks, and the back of the pen shoots out while you're using it. I tried duct taping it together, but it only worked for a short time. The only use for these would be as refills for another pen, as they write very well and are my favorite type of pen (the Pentel Energel brand), but the ones I got must have been a bad batch, as they're all breaking.
The pens. Not in the least. I love the ink in these expensive pens because I am a lefty and the ink dries quickly enough for me to not smear my documents, but now that I have used the pens% That is to say, the barrel cracks right where the rubber slip cover meets the plastic barrel on more than half of the pens I've used. The pen continues to fall apart at this point, eventually rendering it useless. br>It's just a case of poor design or quality control. They're both poorly constructed, in any case.
This company has left me very disappointed. Until this purchase, this was my all-time favorite pen. They've changed, and they're now separated just above the blue grip. It's not possible to reinstall the screw. I started using them on January 2nd, and within a week, two of them had broken down. Now all I have to do is wait for the third to do the same. It's a pity, because they're fantastic writing instruments. I feel as if I've just thrown my money away. I do not recommend it any longer.

Most gel pens I've tried before leave gel puddles, don't dry quickly enough, and run out of ink too quickly. I was pleased to discover that the ink never skipped and the pens wrote smoothly (no ink puddles). I've never used a gel pen that dries so quickly! It dries almost instantly when it comes into contact with the paper, and the rubber grip is extremely comfortable. (The pen has 50% been 50% recycled!) ) I didn't have any issues with bleeding. I would buy this product again in a heartbeat. I would strongly suggest it. br>br>BTW, I'm not sure why, but my purple and green pens came from Mexico, while my black, blue, and red pens came from Japan.
The rubber grip is stiffer/more "slippery" than I expected, so I gave it four stars. I had hoped for a softer rubber grip that would better grip my skin and prevent my fingers from sliding down the pen. I bought them for work and to use as correction marks on reports. Overall, these are good pens that will serve me well. br>br>I purchased a Red 12 pack/box and a Violet 12 pack/box. Both pens glide smoothly across the paper and feel good in the hand; the ink dries quickly, and there are no smudges. I was hoping they were made in Japan because I had heard/read that the quality was better, but I couldn't confirm it. I have no complaints about these pens because they appear to do the job I expected them to do. I'm not sure how long these will last because I just got them. br>br>At the same time, I purchased a 12-pack/box of Blue pens, but they were shipped separately, and I have yet to receive them. I anticipate the same level of quality, but if I discover a flaw with the Blue pens, I will update this review.
in the literal sense! I only recently purchased these pens, and I'm only using the first one for the first time today, but I absolutely adore them! I received a 5-star rating. Pens in a variety of colors with a needle tip (0. Ball diameter: 5 mm). There is no skipping as it glides across the paper. br>br>I was sick of smearing ink when filling out greeting cards with my previous gel pens (Pilot G2), even on matte finish paper, and as a right-handed person. hander. I recently completed a questionaire that required me to use a Pilot pen to fill in the circles, and I had to wait more than a day for it to dry before putting it in the envelope. br>br>Welcome to the world of EnerGel Liquid Gel Ink pens! So far, I'm a huge fan of these pens. They feel great in the hand and glide so smoothly that my signature is noticeably improved and almost effortless. This is coming from someone who has had trouble signing smoothly for years due to MS. But it's the speed with which the ink dries that has me most impressed. I bought these pens because the ink was supposed to dry quickly, so I put them to the test this morning by writing a short line and then smearing it, each time faster than the last. I was blown away when I was able to rub my fingers across the ink line as soon as I finished writing it! Who knew ink could dry so quickly and still flow freely from a pen? I'm curious to see if they can keep writing without drying out, but I haven't seen any reviews that mention this. Thank you for making such a fantastic pen, EnerGel!.
Pentel produces some excellent writing instruments, let's face it. Is it true that these are the best pens on the market? Of course not, but they are of excellent quality and a pleasure to use. I admit that I enjoy using fountain pens, but they do necessitate a lot of attention and upkeep. These Pentel pens, especially when using liquid gel ink, simply work and write smoothly with little effort, and the ink appears to dry quickly. I believe I am correct- I'm right-handed, so I don't have to worry about dragging my hand over fresh ink the way some left-handed people do. I can't speak for right-handed people, but smudges aren't a problem. The price was right, and since I had already placed an order for other items, I figured I'd throw these in as well, and I'm glad I did.
