Questions & Answers

Does the coloring on the barrell start to rub off after a while if you've been using this pen for a while?

This is not a problem for me because I use one every day. However, a couple of the replacement cartridges have caused some unsightly ink leaks. I simply replace the cartridges with new ones and continue to use the pens. They are my favorite.

Does it still write in black ink, no matter what color you choose?

Black ink is used in the majority of cases. Each page must be scrolled down to find a description of the ink color. Because I prefer blue ink, I purchased blue refill cartridges for my gold pen separately.

Is it possible to use Pilot G2 refills in this pen?

No, but the Pentel is similar to the G2, though the refill isn't as long lasting. Take a look at the refillable pens from Mr Grip. They're a little bigger to give you a better grip, and they accept G2 refills. I had both and enjoyed them until I finally gave in to a nagging coworker's insistence that I give it to her because she was so fond of it. The other had been taken.

One of the best pens for less than ten dollars
5/5

These pens are extremely well-made. In response to the negative reviews that mentioned ink leaking, I've written the following: At some point or another, I've seen almost every type of gel pen refill leak. It's not common, so it's not a reason to avoid this brand; it usually happens as a result of a drop or other damage. br>br>The Pentel Energel line, in my opinion, has one-of-a-kind products. In a number of ways, the mighty Pilot G2 has been improved. The . The performance of the 7mm refill is comparable to that of the. The 7mm Pilot G2 is superior to the 1mm Pentel, but the 1mm Pilot G2 is far superior. The Energel Alloy RT outperforms Pilot's metal variant, the G2 Limited, by a wide margin. Every time I unscrew the G2 Limited to change the ink, it breaks into a million pieces. The Energel Alloy is a two-piece metal design that is both solid and slim. Even the spring is seated in such a way that when you unscrew it, it does not pop out. The click mechanism is crisp and pleasant to the touch. I've also been using the black version at work for about 6 months and haven't noticed any paint chips or marks. br>br>One last remark from a pen-obsessed nerd: While the Energel. I think the Papermate Inkjoy is a good refill at 7mm. The Papermate refill fits perfectly into the Energel Alloy RT without any modifications at 7mm, which is a little smoother and more precise. This will work perfectly if you're looking for a metal replacement for the Papermate Inkjoy, which they don't make to my knowledge.

My love affair with a lovely pen lasted 19 days
3/5

A notary handed me one of these pens to sign some documents, and I was so taken with its lovely design and smooth ink flow that I immediately ordered one for myself. Unfortunately, it was only going to be a one-night stand. I'll keep it short. The trip was only 19 days long. What is the value of an $8 bill? Is it possible that a 55 pen will run out of ink in less than 19 days? Did I manually transcribe War and Peace on it 24 hours a day, seven days a week? No, I didn't do it. That would be strange and stupid, and I usually (but not always) have better things to do with my time. This was my journal pen, which I used solely to record the glorious highlights of each day in my wildly exciting life from February 2nd to February 21st, 2019. Take a look at this sad photo of an ink cartridge that has run out of ink. Except for the wild, exciting secrets revealed on that page, I would have shared a photo of the journal page from 2/21 where the pen completely crapped out. Sorry.

For lefties, this is the ideal pen
5/5

I already own this pen in black metal, and I adore it so much that I ordered the aquamarine color for myself as a gift. It's nice and heavy, making you feel even more posh. I keep mine in my wallet because I love it and don't want to lose it, and it's a great pen for signing receipts and writing checks. They are also simple to refill. The most appealing feature of this pen is how well it works for left-handed people like me. This is THE pen to have if you are a lefty looking for a good pen. I personally prefer 0. 7 mm ink refills are available, but it's also customizable. I bought this on the spur of the moment after working with someone who only used a very expensive brand of pen, and while researching it, this came up as a good alternative for someone who didn't want to spend that much. If I can avoid it, I prefer not to use any other brand of pen than this one. It'll quickly sabotage you.

Incredible Pen- This pen was on sale as an add-on for $4 something when I bought it
5/5

br>This pen is incredible. I use it on a regular basis, and the ink runs out after 6 months, forcing me to buy more, which is annoying, but this is a mixed ink, half gel, half liquid. Maybe it's just a gimmick, but gimmick or not, this ink is fantastic: smooth, gentle, dries quickly, and looks and feels fantastic! There are no issues. These pens are a little on the pricey side, but they have a nice feel to them. Aluminum is a metal alloy with substance and weight, but it isn't particularly heavy. This is much better than zebra pens in my opinion. Zebra pens look great (much better, much more sophisticated, sleek, and smooth), but they are inconvenient to use. This pen is extremely comfortable to use.

This pen has a short life span, but it writes well and has a good weight to it
3/5

However, two of the three pens I ordered stopped working today, only a month and a half after I opened it! One exploded and splattered ink all over the place, while the other simply stopped working, despite the fact that it still had plenty of ink and had been used sparingly. I like the potential, but I was underwhelmed by my first impressions.

This is an excellent pen
4/5

I like the pen a lot, but the silver color is a little deceiving; I expected the silver to be a different color than it is. I had already purchased the "chrome" version of this pen from another seller on here, and the silver appeared to be a different color than what I had previously purchased based on the listing pictures. It isn't the case. When looking at the photos, the one inside the box is much more accurate to the actual color than the one outside the box. br>Overall, this pen writes very well, and I'm very pleased with it. I've also discovered that refills from the university will be accepted. The pilot G2 and the ball signo line. I had a bunch of the Signo 207 and G2 at work and was curious if they would fit, so I tried them on and they were perfect. Those two will work as an FYI if you want to try a different refill or prefer a different ink brand.
